I wake up to my alarm beeping and buzzing like it was on steroids and I groan.
I really hate Monday mornings.
But I haven't really had enough sleep since the whole 'Lucas' incident.
I get out of bed..
Yes, shocked me as well.
"Hey sweetie, you awake yet?" I hear my mom slowly open the door to my room.
"Yeah. Kinda." I yawn and stretch. "Buenos Diaz, mama."
"Buenos Diaz, princesa." My mom sits next to me. "How are you feeling today? Feel any better?" She says as she removes my hair from my face.
"Well, I woke up on my own, what do you think?" I let out a small laugh.
"Yep. You're definitely not okay." She says and we both laugh. "Now go brush your teeth you smell like rotten tortillas." Mom says as she pinches her nose with two of her fingers and waves her other hand in the air toward my bathroom.
I get ready wearing a black T-shirt with the words 'like a bawse' in the front. Compliments of my favorite YouTuber Lilly Singh, who looks a lot like Kanisha. I wear some skinny denim jeans and pair it off with a choker that has the letter A engraved in diamonds on my neck. I go for a comfy look today putting on some almost black Roche's and a loose ponytail.
Off to the hell cell.. I mean school.

I meet Kaylee on our way to bio class.
"Alright class.. You guys will have to complete a project that makes up 40% of your grade so take it seriously. And yes, I'll be the one to put you in your respective groups." Our new sub teacher says. She has a beautiful tall body with dirty blonde hair. She seems relatively young to be a teacher but who am I to judge?
She begins to put us into groups of three and Kaylee gets to be with Christopher and James.
Lucky.
"And you.." She points at me "can be with.."
She scans the room. She has put pretty much everyone in a group except for like six people.
"Him." She signals at Aiden.
Oh great.
Just then Ellie comes in from her 27 minute bathroom break.
"And her!" She says.
Yaaay! I get Ellie!
She seems to have paired everyone except Machi and she ends up in my group too.
Maybe this won't be that bad.

At lunch I head straight to Aiden's table and may I just say it oozes sadness and depression.
He rolls his eyes when he sees me."What do you want, new girl." He says coldly.
"Have you tried the spicy chicken tika? I think it'll work great to JumpStart your frozen heart." I sneer and make a punbelievably awesome comeback.
