It's had to have been months. Months in the void, with nothing but black....empty space....and memories. The constant memories dragging him father and farther away from who he wanted to be. Taking him closer to her, to the shadows, to hell.
Powerless, weak, his only hope is that they can still be happy without him. He knows they can, that is all he needs. The sick feeling resides in his brain. The feeling of.........
Everywhere he went, he destroyed. He brutally destroyed every inch of it, no matter what it was. As soon as he arrived he would take. He would murder, he would torture every last living thing that could feel pain. And then he would collapse the very dimension on top of itself, plummeting it to hell.
Every time the kitsunes created something they loved, he would destroy it. They could love nothing without him destroying it. No matter how hard they tried to move on he would remain to remind them of all the damage they had done to him, to her.
Asmoday walked through the bloodied streets with an emotionless expression on his face. "Come out.....I saw you run."
A very small girl scurried out from behind a rock. She looked up at the blood red skies, her eyes full of fear, tears ran down her cheeks. "Why.....d-did you kill my...m-....m...." she let out a heart wrenching noise as she tried not to break down into sobs.
Asmoday simply stepped forwards and kicked her over. "Pathetic child." Black shadows shot out and knocked her into her back skidding her across the road.
"g-ghhh" she shook violently from overwhelming pain and emotion...
"You let them die." His foot moved forwards and pressed down on her chest.
"P-please d...."
His foot jabbed down harshly and several loud cracks broke the air.
"GAAhH---e....eh...HNk...k..." her lungs seemed to just flap limply in her, ribs crushed and stabbed out of her sides. Still alive she couldn't even wail because there was no air.
"Your delicate body....how foolish of them." He pressed down till her squirming ceased and red thick fluid drained from her sides.
He brought up his fingers and snapped quietly, shadows shot from the ground, consuming the world around him, screams of the damned echoing. The world faded back to hell. He stood still....looking at where the small child's body would have been.
But only dark void remained now, he looked at his hands, no blood. No hell, that was long ago.....but....
He....did that. It flashes through his head again.....With Oliver, then Kane....a small lifeless body being crushed right at his foot.
He broke down. With the guilt of everything he had done, and how easily it could have been family.
Demons are monsters who don't get happy endings, they don't get a family. They kill, and they take.
And to him it seems.
he is a demon in every way.
