Jen and I make our way through campus till we get to our table, which is in a park in the middle of campus. Were in fact the three stooges are skipping class.
"Hey guys." I say sitting down with Jen.
"Hey! Don't you two girls have classes?" James asks.
"I could ask you the same question."
"Touché. So why are you skipping class?"
"We are not skipping class, we are just planning on arriving a little bit late."
"And why's that?"
"Well I actually wanted to ask you guys for a favor?"
"What do you want Sis? Maybe maybe I'll help you." He says smirking.
"Not you moron. The other guys."
"What can we help you with sweetie?" Dylan says smirking, he has always been the cocky one. He always always is flirting, its like he doesn't know how to do anything else. James punchs him in the arm, he hates it when he flirts with me. "Ouch!"
"Don't call me sweetie. And well I need a chaperone, so who volunteers?"
"A chaperone for what?" Jack asks.
"Just a date."
"Date? With who?" James asks.
"Some guy."
"Isn't a date romantic? Why do you want a chaperone? We are just going to be third wheeling." Jack says crossing his arms, clearly interested.
"Believe me, it won't be romantic."
"With who is the date?" Dylan asks.
"Okay, no more questions. Let's just say its a surprise, okay? So, who comes with me?"
"And what do we get in return?" Jack asks leaning in the table.
"I'll pay for whatever you order."
"And where is this date taking place?" Jack asks.
"Today in the Starbucks down the street, at 4:30."
"Damn I can't! I have class from 4:40 to 5:50. Sorry Em." Dylan says giving me an apologetic smile.
"It's okay Dyl, so that leaves you Jack. Can you be my chaperone?"
"Why can't I go?" James asks clearly confused.
"Just because." I say to him, making him look even more confused.
"Do I have to?" Jack asks me.
"Yes, please Jack!" I say putting my hands in a praying position.
"Fine I'll go, but if by any chance things start getting romantic and I'm three wheeling, I'll leave no matter what."
"Okay yeah, no problem. I swear it isn't romantic at all. Right Jen?" I say nudging Jen in the shoulder.
"Mhm." Jen just mumbles while texting to someone. I just look at the guys and they look at me with a seriously? face.
"Come on Jen, put your phone away for sec and answer with a little bit more of enthusiasm, because the guys won't believe me."
"Believe you what?" Jen asks clearly confused.
"That the date isn't romantic."
"Oh Yeah, sorry. It isn't romantic at all, she is saying the truth." Jen says putting her phone away, since all this time we were negotiating she was on her phone.
