I was sitting by the pool during my bestfriend's birthday party looking around when I saw one particular person whom I haven't seen in a long time, my first ex boyfriend. I haven't seen him in like 6 months not because I'm avoiding him but because if I seen him all the memories come flashing back, I remember how he betrayed me, vividly.

So I was sitting here staring for a second too long at him and his new girl, not surprising how fast he moved on 'cause a few months before we broke up he was already fooling around with that same bitch. Then an idea popped into my head before he could even meet my gaze.

I got up from where I sat and jumped into the pool creating a splash that got his attention, how did I know? I saw him walking towards the pool, but then I put my idea into work I eyed a cutie not so far I walked towards him trying to be seductive when I was near him I leaned in to whisper in his ear since he wouldn't hear what I'm saying even if I shouted because of the speakers that were blasting so loud.

"Do you have a girlfriend?".

"Um no" he scratched his head shyly while giving me a small smile.

"Ok so can you do me a favor?"

"Yeah sure what is it?"

"Don't be mad".

That's when I leaned in and kissed his lips, to my surprised he kissed me back. We were kissing for about half a minute when I decided to deepen the kiss then gently pull him underwater, because I really like that kissing scene in Percy Jackson in the 5th book and yes I'm a bit of a bookworm. Since me and my ex never did that even though he knew how much I'm obsessed with that scene, well that's one thing off my bucket list.

After the scene I made I saw some of my friends staring at me with their jaws dropping, I have a lot of explaining to do later, yikes but now I focus only on one thing my ex's reaction he also seemed shocked of course I used to be a good girl never in my life would I have the courage what I just did, but yeah I guess people change especially if they've been hurt. He only has himself to blame.

Back to reality I got up from the pool I walked in his direction enough for him to think that I'm going towards him but no I just passed him like nothing happened while my friends still look at me like I'm crazy, good thing I had a few drinks earlier in situations like this you gotta be thankful that you're under the influence of alcohol because in times like this you're gonna need all the confidence you can get. I go directly to my bestfriend's room because tonight I'll be sleeping here 'cause duh its her birthday one of the most important days in her life I'm supposed to be there. I took a shower then grabbed one oversized shirt from her closet and some comfortable shorts and of course I leave some of my stuff here it's basically my second home. I took this chance to rest while my friends are still busy partying, drinking or getting laid and still not bugging me to justify my actions.

I was about to sleep when I heard my phone buzz I entered my password then I saw a few messages most them are asking where I am I typed one text and sent it to all of them because I'm too tired and exhausted, I just wanna rest so I lay down closed my eyes then heard a few knocks on the door I got up.

"Ugh! for the love of god let me rest people"

I was surprised when I opened the door I saw the guy whom I kissed earlier I didn't know what to say.

"Hey" he said

"Hi"

"Um sorry for bothering you I just wanted to make sure that you were ok because I thought you were drunk I mean I tasted alcohol on your lips"

"Um yeah I'm ok, I know I owe you an explanation but can I explain it next time? 'cause I'm really tired right now"

"Sure next time" he smiled then he walked away.

As much as I enjoyed this day I'm glad that its over. Now time to get some sleep.
