Troublesome

Chapter 1

   Annie sits up in her bed staring at the far wall blankly at 6:58 a.m., two minutes before her 7:00 a.m. alarm clock goes off. "Ugh" she mutters to herself tossing her blankets back, swinging her legs over the edge of the bed and onto the floor. Sighing, Annie silently stalked off to the bathroom to start her morning routine. Once she was inside the bathroom she turned on the lights and instantly winced. The lights were too bright and it was way too early. Sighing again she removed her clothes and began her shower.

   After showering she returned to her room to hear her alarm clock blaring its annoying beeps. Annie gave the clock a glare and smacked the snooze button. "If I could trade mistakes for sheep, count me away before you sleep..." Her Panic! at the Disco ringtone blared. "I'll still wait til you trade my mistakes and they fade away.."

   "Its 7:10 a.m. and way too early for phone calls, what do you want" Annie complained answering her phone. "Oh, lose the attitude loser I was just calling to see if you were awake on time", her best female friend Jaz replied smoothly. "Well I'm up. Bye." Annie said taking the phone and hanging it up and casually tossing it on the bed. She needed to find clothes to wear today.

  After dressing she headed downstairs for breakfast. Today she settled for Frosted Flakes™ and a glass of of orange juice. Finally settling down at the table with her food she began to eat. After a while she began to realize that she was alone in the kitchen when usually she was joined by her mother and/or the maid. "Oh well" she thought, "It is pretty early". Then she began to think about her friends.

There was Henry the most reckless person there is. He was Hispanic but kind of pale, had a muscular build, was around 6ft tall and mostly wore his hair dark hair in a mohawk. Then there was Jaz, the only female friend she'd ever held close to her. She was 5'8, had shoulder length brown straight hair and had pretty brown skin. Jaz was really funny and friendly but never took anything from anyone but as goofy as she was, she gave the best advice. Last but never least there was Micheal the hacker. He was a genius about anything technological. He had the same build as Henry but he was a bit taller. Micheal had his hair cut low and had skin a shade darker than Jaz's.

   As Annie thought of her friends she'd remembered that she had been kind of mean to Jaz because of how freakishly angry she "attitude-ish" she is in the morning. She owed her an apology and wasn't above bribing her with food like always. Annie smiled and decided to go getr half a dozen doughnuts for Jaz before heading to school. She grabbed the keys to her gold 2010 Lexus and decided to go ahead and leave for school although she was a tad bit early. The clock said 7:35 but and school started at 8:20.

   On the bright side she had time to get Jaz's food bribe and not be late for school. She got in her vehicle, slowly made her way out of the driveway; a habit she developed so her mother wouldn't complain about the way she drives going. And once she was far enough away that she was sure her mother couldnt see, she sped up going from 30mph to 80 ready to start her usual boring day.
