Today is the day, it's finally august 15th. I'm going to meet my world, my everything, my idol. I have been looking forward to this day for the longest time. I got dressed for the concert and my best friend picked my up around noon, so we could go to his hotel and then be at the venue early.
We spent an hour or two waiting at the hotel, but then decided it would be better to just wait at the venue because he would probably get there early. I'm really hoping to be U Girl, it's been a dream of mine ever since he released the song. I doubt I'll get picked though, i was considered a small account on twitter and even though I worked my butt off on showmobile and twitter trying to gain support, I'm not sure it was enough. So instead of worrying about that, I tried focusing on the concert and meeting my idol and just having fun. Before I knew it, it was time for the meet and greet. All I could hear was "next, next, next" as Austin took pictures with his mahomies and then they were pushed out of the room. I was next, I was really excited, yet nervous at the same time, I just wanted him to like me. "Hi beautiful" Austin said hugging me. "hi! i love you so much" i said hugging him back. "i love you too" We posed for our picture and then I hugged him one last time before i left the room. "hey wait up" i turned to see Mike standing there. "um hi" i said, unsure of what he wanted from me. "are you @0liv4ugirlaug15 ?" he asked. "yeah! i am" i responded. "well congrats because austin has chosen you to be his u girl tonight" mike said smiling. "WHAT OH MY GOD REALLY" i screamed. "yes but shh try to keep quiet, let me see your ticket so i can find you later" "okay thank you so much"
When it was time, Mike came and found me in the audience and I waited backstage. Austin came off for a break, he saw me and gave me a head nod and smiled. "nice to see you again" he said winking. I couldn't help but blush.
The next thing I know, 'U' starts playing and one of his dancers comes and grabs my hand and walks me out onto the stage. The crowd started screaming. I can't believe this is actually happening. Austin saw me and smiled. He picked up a teddy bear and walked over to me and hugged me from behind. When he pulled away I was left with the bear in my arms. I started tearing up because this has been my biggest dream. "just give me a minute, and i'll be makin you my mrs" austin sang as he kissed my hand. He got up from his knee and kissed my cheek. I had the biggest smile on my face, but how could I not, my idol was singing to me. He took my hand and pulled me off of the stool. He then put his hands on my waist and started singing looking directly into my eyes. I had my hands on his shoulders, but he took one of my hands and spun me around. "give it up for this beautiful girl everybody" Austin said as he started to walk me to the opposite side of the stage. When we made our way completely backstage he took off his microphone and gave me a huge hug. "thank you so much, i love you austin" "aw you're welcome, but i was wondering if you maybe wanted to go get something to eat after the show" "yes! of course, how could i say no" i said in shock. "great, i'll see you later and by the way what's your name" austin said. "olivia" i smiled. He kissed my cheek one last time and running back onto the stage.
