Love was addictive, and painful. Love was something he knew wasn't real, not for him. As if a controlling power could really be love. Love shouldn't be forced, but it was. No matter what he tried to tell himself he knew they would never love him if he hadn't taken control.

The betrayal in their eyes. The horror in their hearts, monster.

Monster.

The monster had snapped, the monster had commuted an irreversible act. With a snap of the fingers Asmoday destroyed every bit of the world he had called home, torn and ripped apart with screams. Everything he loved seeing the true monster they said he was.

Down to hell to burn and rot, to be tortured and erased from existence. He returned even more lifeless than before, even more cold. He returned with pain. Regret, the mercy in his heart ached. He would rid of that mercy, then he could truly destroy every spirit he loved, every spirit that didn't belong here.

"I told you it would happen.....but alas you just can't listen can you?" Leviathan spat out at him, his thick snake like voice lingered in the air.

"No one can love a demon, and certainly you are loved the very least."

".....seems like you are right." He sounded defeated, Asmoday had never given into any demon before. It struck Leviathan with a sort of power, for they all secretly feared Asmoday.

"I can't let go." His eyes locked with Leviathan's "....But I'm sure you can help me with that."

"Of course I'd never help you, a murderous hunter that kills for sport, you bring people to hell just for some revenge that doesn't even exist."

"Demons aren't monsters, we have a system....but your just a flat out monster." Asmoday was silent.

"Maybe it one one of us that made them d-"

Leviathan, without a second to react then was hit with a massive black claw that rattled his very skull. For a moment he began to fall when-

Asmoday's foot slammed into his rib cage.

Leviathan let out a groan of pain and tried to regain his balance, but was immediately slammed back down by the black shadowy claw. He finally managed to roll out and lunge as Asmoday, whipping out a hell blade and slicing across his side.

As he slid by the ground shook and black spikes shot straight out and jabbed Leviathan straight through the chest.

Pain erupted in him as his bones were shattered. As blood poured down his own side, Asmoday ripped Leviathan off the spike and violently kicked him across the ground.

Then he repeatedly spiked through his body, like he was poking through a toy. Other shadows ripped at his skin, Leviathan shook and screeched horrifically.

Stab.
Scratch.
Rip.
Stab.
Stab.
Stab.

A Massive black claw then clenched around Leviathan and crushed him until his blood began to ooze down through the claws. Then it dropped him as he fell lifeless.

His body flopped with a wet, fleshy THUD onto the ground.

Asmoday formed a sword in his hands, he raised it and stabbed it through Leviathan's bloody body. Take his soul and lend him its abilities.

Shadows whirled around until the red sword began to thin and shift into a perfectly balanced katana which was sharper than any knife ever before. Asmoday picked up the Kikoku, Leviathan was torn into the ground by black hands.

Asmoday he felt what mercy he once had knew leave his body, he knew now that he would never become attached to anything. That he could kill the ones he cared about without question.

He no longer kept track of how many memories he had experienced. They were becoming more and more difficult to push away. More persuasive, but after months....he just hoped Scout could be okay without him.

Because he wasn't sure how long he could remain the Asmo she loved.
