I remember the very first day i met my adoptive family.
<flash back>
It was a cold and rainy day. The rain was coming down hard and fast. Just standing under ot for more than a few seconds felt like a thousamd knives were stabbing you in every square inch of your body. I was trying to find shelter from it. But all i couls find was a small cardboard box.
A few hours had passed and a couple ended up walking past me. They couldn't believe their eyes. To them, they had thought 'whats a child doing out in the rain and in a cardboard box'.
I would've told them that ive been out on the streets since i was 5. But i couldnt move. I was so hungry and in so much pain from the rain. But luckily i didnt have to.
They had decided to take me in. I was so happy that day. I was thinking that they would be my new parents. I was right! I had spent a 2 years with them and they jad brought me to a place to declare me as their adoptive child.
After nine months i had a baby sister. I was do happy day. It was the day i would be the best big brother a sister could have. I would treat her like a precious gem stone.
Over the years we had grown so attached. I would play with her everyday i could and after school. It was so much fun. It was even better when she started going to school to. I got to walk her to and from school.
Some days we would stop at the park and play or go for ice cream after.
As the years passed i had fallen in love. My sister knew of her. I would end up spending more time with the girl i liked than my little sister.
After a few months of spending time with her, i asked her out. We ended up together and hanging out every day after school. My sister had started to become annoying. But i didn't care.
My life was perfect. Until......____________________________________
