"Are you kidding me" I scoff

"Hannah you know we have to go to this, your grandma's sick." My mom said.

Is she kidding me? Leaving me in the middle of Los Angelos by myself. Paying the bills, buying grocery, working part time jobs?

"You can't just cut me off like that!" I yell into the phone, louder than I meant to be. I was their daughter! I'm not even in college & I barely make enough money to pay rent!

"I'm sorry sweetie" My mom said. It sounded like she meant it, but I knew she didn't mean it. Not one bit.

"How am I supposed to pay for this place?!" I cried.

"You can get a roommate..?" she suggested.

I blew air out of mouth to calm down. "Fine." I hung up.

I picked up my purse and walked out the door to go to work.

"You're late." Mackenna laughed.

"Sorry." I mumbled.

"What's up your ass?"

"My parents cut me off.." I sighed and sat down on stools.

"Oh..Hannah you know I'd let you stay with me but Bryan's already living in my apartment." she looked guilty.

"It's fine. I have to find a stupid roommate anyways." I rolled my eyes.

"Maybe you should. Just not a good roommate..you should get a bad boy. See what they think about that ," she said, while cleaning off the counter tops.

"Yeah if I do that, they'd come back in a split second." We both laughed.

After talking for what seemed like hours, we locked up the cafe and went our seperate ways. When I got home the apartment was cold and lonely, like always. Maybe a roommate would help. I put my keys on the kitchen table and go on my laptop. If I wanted a roommate fast, I'd have to put an ad out fast.
