After I dropped Matt off I headed home..

Once I got home Soph was already waiting for me and asking me how practice went. It was around 7pm once I got home and I got a text message from my friend Krista. Krista was a really close friend during Middle School, she helped me out a lot. "Hey, wanna throw a part tonight?" Krista texted. "Um yea !!" I replied back. I threw on a shorter flowing red dress with black vans and straightened my hair, Soph said she didn't wanna go and that she has too
much homework.

Ugh I looked at my phone as it buzzed and read his message. A smile started to form on my face. I grabbed my keys hopped in the car and went and got Matt. I went up to his front door and his mom answered.. oh great. "Hi Amanda, is Matt home?". "Oh Harley !! It's been forever we've missed you!! And yes come on it and I'll go get him". When me and mat were little our parents were really close and sorta are still today. However I was over here almost every weekend until 6th grade.. She said as she welcomed me in. "So I hear you guys are going to a party?" She starts to say. "MOM!" Matt yells as he walks down the stairs. I started to chuckle. Matt starts to force me out the door as he yells "bye mom!! Love you". I walk over to my car as he just stops and stares at me. "Wow.. you look stunning" He says as he looks at me up and down. "Get in the car loser, we have places to be" I said as I started laughing. We start driving over to Kristas. As we pull into her driveway he puts his hand on mine and looks at me deep in the eyes and says "if anything happens tonight call for me". I look at him and smile "everything will be okay you can stay right with me if you want". "Oh trust me I was planning on it" he said while winking. We get out of the car and he immediately walks right up next to me. I walk up to the door and see Krista I run up and hug her, we didn't get to hangout much over summer we were always busy. I introduce her to Matt and they start talking I look at them and tell them I'm going to get a drink. As I walk over Matt follows me and after a couple hours of being there I say bye to Krista and Matt and I leave. It was around 11pm by now and we stopped at our favorite spot when we were in elementary the beach. We sat on the hood of my car and listened to the crashing of the waves and the crickets chirping in the night. Matt looks at me "remember coming here when we were kids?".. he says. "Heh.. yea life was so much easier then.. I wish we could go back." I say with a little sadness in my tone. He looks at me again this time more serious then last.. "well maybe we can just go forward and make new memories.." he said leaning in looking at my lips.. I hesitate at first but then I started leaning in my whole body betraying every emotion I was having. Then our lips finally meet and a spark happened and it's almost like we were brought together by some force. After a minute or so we pulled away.. just looking at each other and holding each other. I looked at him and smiled as I drifted off to sleep on the hood of my car in his arms. The next morning I woke up in an unfamiliar but familiar bedroom.. it was Matt's. When I fell asleep last night he drove my car to his house carried me up to his room and slept on his couch. I checked my phone and saw a ton of calls from Soph I called her back and she answered "WHERE WERE YOU?!" She screamed on the other end of the phone. "Calm down! I passed out last night and slept over at Matt's.. I'll explain later." I said as I hung up the phone. It was 6 in the morning on a Saturday. My mom works all day and doesn't get home until 12 at night. I was dying of thirst and was super hungry so I walked down the stairs got a glass of water and a bagel and sat down of the other end of the couch where Matt was sleeping. I looked at him.. he was so cute when he slept.. I thought to myself.. he caught me staring at him and started to chuckle. I tried to look away but I was too slow. He laughed as he gestured over to him. I got up and walked over to him and laid down and drifted off back to sleep as he kissed my forehead and whispered in my ear .. "goodnight princess".
