Prologue

Emiko Shihio looked at the big green gates that lead into Konoha, the Village Hidden in The Leaf. They were currently open. So. She thought to herself. This it the village hidden in the leaf, huh. She looked around and bit her lip. She walked into the Village, and was stopped by the guards.

"Who are you?" One of them asks.

"Emi Shihio and I'm eight years old," she replied, "I'm lost. I was walking for many days. I came up to this gate hoping for somewhere to stay."

"Well, My name is Zane., he replies, "Izomo. go to the Hokage building and inform him we have a visitor."

"Right," Izomo says, jumping from roof top to roof top.

"Hokage?" Emi asks, "Who's that, Zane-san?"

"Huh?" he asks, "You don't know who the Hokage is?" Emi shakes her head.

"Don't worry, the Hokage is like the grandfather of this village. He won't hurt anybody," Zane explains.

"So, He's really nice then?" She asks. Zane replies with a nod. The little girl smiles.

Izomo returns to take Emi to the Hokage building.

"Lord Hokage," he says, "I have brought her."

"Bring her in," the voice from inside says.

Emi gulps, nervous. She walks in to the room, and stands in front of the Hokage's desk. If he's the Hokage, I'd better give him the upmost respect. Emi thinks to herself.

"H....hello H...Hokage-sama," she says, nervously.

"Hello, young one," he replies, "Do you mind telling me what happened to you?"

"I came from the Village hidden in the Sand. My parents threw me out of the house for not listening to them. I know it's unbelievable, but I didn't stay away from someone like i should have." She continues her explanation. "............That's all." Emi finished.

"Such a heart-breaking story," the Hokage says. That's when he noticed it. Her chakra Signature is enormous! He thinks. What power does this girl have? I'd better keep an eye on her.

"Emi how would you like to stay in Konoha for awhile?" he asks. The little girl's face lights up.

"Really?" she asks, "I can?"

The Hokage nods.

"Thank you, Hokage-sama!" She says, excited. She gets brought to an apartment not to far from the Hokage building. I'm ready to start a new life here in Konoha! Emi thinks to herself. No matter what though, I'm going to still miss Gaara. I wonder how he's doing?
