I thought long and hard about Teighlor's invite. I mean I missed her and her mom as well but our situation causes so much tension. Maybe for her mom one night wouldn't hurt.
I finished my homework and washed up. I put on a simple outfit & flat ironed my hair. I gathered my purse, charger, phone, and keys and went down stairs. My sister was still at work so I locked up & left.
Once I got in the car I plugged my phone up to my aux and hit shuffle on my playlist. Music was so soothing to me no matter what genre.
"This whisky got me feeling pretty , so pardon if I'm impolite." I sung along with Rihanna as I drove to Teighlor's house.
She only stayed about 10 minutes away. So I arrived pretty swiftly.
I sat in the driveway for another 10 minutes trying to see if this is really wanted to do. I felt like this was a set up. With Teighlor knowing how vulnerable she makes me something's bound to happen. I can just feel it.
I stopped being a pussy and found myself at her door, knocking. It took a few seconds but I her footsteps coming towards the door.
Teighlor's mom opened the door with the biggest smile ever. It made my heart melt. I loved her mom so much. It was only my resentment towards Teighlor that kept me away.
She opened the door wider & pulled me inside, following a bear hug cutting off my air ways. I grunted from the squeeze but returned it.
She finally let go but was crying. I frowned cause I hated seeing anyone cry. Especially someone I cared so dearly for.
"What's the matter mama? Why you crying?", I asked .
"Oh you're just so effortlessly beautiful and I missed you so much." she said. I smiled super hard. She always made me feel special. " I missed you too mama & I'm sorry but im here now." I said.
I followed her to the kitchen. She cooked Teighlor's favorite. Spaghetti with fried chicken and sweet Jiffy cornbread.
I grabbed plates and began to set the table. I heard footsteps from the stairwell. I looked up to see Teighlor starring at me.
"Why are you starring at me like that Teighlor?", I asked. She almost made me drop a plate, she knows she makes me nervous.
"You" , she replied. I shifted and sat down waiting on her mom to come in with the food.
I sat across from Teighlor & her mom sat beside her. We said grace and passed the food around the table.
We began to eat & made small talk. Once we were done I excused myself to use the restroom. I went upstairs to the bathroom and noticed my toothbrush was still in the holder. I'd think Teighlor would throw it out.
It felt so weird being here . I did my business and washed my hands. I proceeded out the bathroom. I nearly jumped out my skin seeing Teighlor waiting for me outside the door.
"What the fuck Teighlor, why would you do that you ass." I exclaimed. She laughed and suddenly stopped looking at me from head to toe. I was about to walk away until she grabbed my arm.
She grabbed my face & smashed her lips into mine. I was caught off guard but eventually kissed back. I broke the kiss and just starred at her.
I was feeling too much at one time & I felt like my heart was in my ass. I brushed past Teighlor and ran down stairs and got my things and stormed out .
