taehyung sighed heavily as he faced jeongguk, his gaze intense and piercing through the younger

"so you're into photography now, huh?" he questioned, tone filled with mockery

jeongguk nodded quietly and tried to keep the eye contact with the latter as he controlled himself from shaking

taehyung chuckled sarcastically, "from being a pro on video games, singing and dancing. and now! you're going to try photography?" he stepped closer to jungkook, "just how fucking talented are you?"

jeongguk didn't know what to respond, so he let out a nervous smile, "t-thanㅡ"

taehyung pushed him hardly towards the wall, "don't fucking take that as a compliment, 'cause it's not." he growled and released a few breaths before continuing, "you just really like to get on my nerves do you?"

the younger's heart is beating too fast, he's half scared and half flustered from the proximity they have. he shook his head fast and he tried to process what taehyung's saying

"you tried playing video games because you saw me doing it one time. one time then bam! you became the nation's very best player. you also did the same on singing- got told that you have a much better vocal skills than i am. do you even have any idea how long i've practiced for me to get hired by that company?"

jeongguk stayed silent, he's suprised and a bit confused about what taehyung is trying to prove, he opened his mouth to say something but decided against it

"they heard you one time, one time then you're suddenly hired."

"h-hyungㅡ..."

taehyung gripped his wrist tightly, "shut the fuck up, i didn't allowed you to talk, no?"

jeongguk immediately averted his gaze on the floor, looking completely scared and close to crying, he didn't know what's happening to his hyung- nor the purpose of everything he's spouting

"and of course, dancing! oh, you became a main dancer and me on the other hand, became a.. what, sub dancer? i'm truly devastated, kook- cause i knew you could only pass up as a backup dancer."

jeongguk squirmed from taehyung's touch, trying to fight back the tears that was about to fall, "h-hyung, p-please stop.. i - i don't unㅡ "

taehyung placed a finger on the younger's lips, "shhhh. let me just get this straight alright?" he whispered with a blank look on his face as he traced jeongguk's lips

"you have to stop doing photography."

"i-i w-whaㅡ"

taehyung wiped the tear that fell on jungkook's eyes, "you won't do it because you'll ruin it for me. i'm about to make VANTE happen but if you keep interfering you'll mess it up. you don't want that to happen, right?" he looked into his eyes with a convincing look

jeongguk shook his head, "b-but i just w-want to-"

taehyung sighed deeply as he brushed jungkook's hair away from his eyes, "you're a good boy, hmm? you'll listen to everything that hyung'll say."

the younger weakly nodded, "y-yes... 'm sorry hyungie..." he whispered with his heart feeling heavy

"good boy" taehyung replied, he ruffled jungkook's hair before distancing himself,

"you also need to stop trying to be superior all the time. it gets really annoying, gguk. stop trying so goddamn hard. you can surpass me alright? but you'll never be me."  he said before slamming the door shut

jeongguk let the tears from his eye fall, his breathing became heavier and his vision became blurry. he placed both of his arms to cover his face and he tried to stop the tears but it seems to be never-ending.

it's not his fault if he's good with all the things, not his fault when people compliment and praise him for being such a talented human

but none of those matters,

because he just wants to try everything with taehyung, wants to be complimented and praised by him and him only

he wasn't trying to compete, he knows the words said by the older are nothing but lies, but now he feels like a complete useless shit.
