I saw the tall children sing through their hearts and their souls, and my wall of children came down. The leafs on their beautiful arms and heads danced with the thousand wolves' cries. The tall children died, right before my eyes.

Many years earlier, I was found in a broken cradle, below a tree. My mother and father were the ocean and the stars. They cradled me, and raised me as their own.
"Father," I cried, "Father, the green stalk will die soon, the sands are now mud, and the shimmering sky...." The waters were still.

"Mother!" I agonized at the sky, and turned back to my paralyzed parent. "Father, we must save her! Without the stars and the moon, surely we will all be doomed to eternal sadness.. Father- why don't you care?!" But my persistency was not in vain, he answered back in a low rumble.

"My daughter, all things have a downfall, and an uprising. Your mother- it is true she has been in poor health. However, she knows that her newest and most precious form is to come. A new set of eyes to see her, a new dawn to bring for and from her. All things must perish- in order to rebuild." Silence took over again, slowly but surely- and the waters were still.

The muddy sands, the dying grass, it would all be okay? I thought not. I had seen mother transform many times, and I had seen the grass and the sands change through time- but this was not as it should be. I felt a suffocation in the air. The green children's field was same as ever, but with more new noise and less of the old ones.

I couldn't help to think that everything around me was dying- a scream of silence infected the life around me, and I had no power to fix it. The short pheonix had stopped speaking, the blinding heavens were shrouded in a dark magic. This world was not well.

I knew, I knew, oh, how I knew. The world! My home! Set and sailed for disaster. I can no longer sleep; the silence kills my kind. No longer may I eat. I refrained as father said- why does mother no longer fair well?

I was interrupted.
A crude, angering sound stabbed into my thoughts.
I ran, I ran, and I ran.
I covered, and cried, and screamed for anybody to help.

A solid I had never seen before, moved. "This, this is the end. This is where father was describing, this is why I was found."
I jumped, and in front of the monster I stood. It only got louder; and I swore that the tall children tried to move me.

There I stood, heart in hands, mother in mind, and I saw the tall children sing through their hearts and their souls. The tall children died, right before my eyes.
