“P-Please sir! I beg of you! You must know someone who can take care of these two poor cups!”
The kettle pleaded on his knees, begging to the manager of The Devils Casino. King Dice himself.
“Tsk.”
King Dice sneered as he peered down at this dirty and rusted, and clearly close to death, Kettle.
“Please sir..anyone..I want my boys to have a wonderful life. I do not have much life span left.”
The Kettle cried, tears running down his cheeks.
King Dice looked up from him and looked outside of the cave to see the two Cups playing outside. One slightly taller, a blue and white striped straw sticking out of his head. He seemed to be at least..8 or so. Wearing a pair of blue worn overalls and shoes.
The other, a lot more shorter, a red and white bendy straw sticking out of his head. Once again, wearing red overalls and shoes.
The kettle continued to plead, Dice was one of his oldest friends and he had knew that he had changed after what happened with his soul.
Dice couldn't help but feel bad for his old friend and finally gave in.
“Alright Kettle, I'll try and find someone for them.”
The dice said. Still slightly aggravated.
“Oh thank you Dice!! Thank you so much!!”
Elder kettle cried out as he stood up and wrapped his arms around King Dice. Dice pushed him away.
“Okay Okay, none of this mushy mushy stuff!”
Dice remarked as he crossed his arms.
A ring on his left ring finger glared which caught Elder Kettles attention.“Whats that..?”
Kettle asked, inspecting the ring on his old friends hand.
“A ring.”
“Ah, good to hear you finally found someone. Anyways. I hope you have an amazing life and find a fitting home for my two boys. They mean the world to me.”
Kettle admitted.
“Thank you. And I will.”
They stared into each others eyes. Suddenly Dice leaned down and hugged his friend.
“Take care.”
He whispered.
Elder Kettle handed two suitcases to Dice and smiled lightly.“Thank you again.”
Kettle turned around and called the two boys over.
“Cuphead! Mugman! Please come here!”
With that the two cups came running over here.
Once in their presence Kettle said his final goodbye to these two boys, explaing he'll be going on a trip and will be gone for a while. Little did they know he'd soon be gone forever. They looked up at King Dice and smiled, their eyes gleaming with amazement.
“Mugman look! That guys really tall!”
“Yeah and look! His head is a Dice.”
They gawked in aw and Dice couldn't help but chuckle.
“Okay boys, I better get going. Goodbye I love you.”
Kettle said and hugged both of them tightly. Finally he walked away and out of the cave.
Dice looked down at them and..they were suddenly gone! Dice panicked and turned around to see them run into the Casino.
