Skye's eyes fluttered open, her head pounding with a searing pain. She rubbed her neck, sitting up. It had a tender spot where she thinks she was struck. Poking it with barely any pressure, the pain was unbearable. She grimaced and began to look around her. She was in a dimly lit room with turquoise paint splattered into beautiful stars that were entwined with each other. Skye lifted her body up onto her knees and then stood up. Feeling the weight of her body, it felt a lot heavier than normal. When she looked down, her body looked the same, though she felt as if she gained twelve and a half pounds, (not to be specific). She was wearing her same worn out clothes, nothing about that changed. There were no windows that she could see on the blue walls. There was, however, a single heavy-duty door the color of a Great White Shark. She peered out of it through a small rectangular window. Outside of the room, she saw multiple people walking by. By people, don't assume humans. There were all sorts of different species roaming by.
Her eyes widened when she saw a man with skin the color of the sky walk by. Next, a violet lady ran down the hall. The hall itself was the color of ivory. Skye peered to the side of the window, trying to see if there was anyone outside of the room. She saw two men in what seemed to be their uniforms stationed to the side of the outside of the blue room. They looked like red coats, but their suits were blue. Skye did what seemed to be the logical solution in this situation and she opened the door. Surprised that it wasn't locked, Skye stepped right out. The men in the blue coats turned to her, their faces turning pale at the Skye's eyes widened as they yelled,
"Vershern Boyani! Howngi ghet mono?" The second man said, clear panic in his voice. Skye cocked an eyebrow, staring him up and down.
"Uhm, what?" She said, crossing her arms. There was a single wristband attached to her, labeled 611-7 - Subjected To B4. Looking down at it, her mouth opened a little, yet no sound came out. She peered back up at the men, wondering if they had any response to her in words she could understand. The two men looked at each other and then back again. The second man banged his cheek where a petitie metal circle with about a one inch diameter lied in their skin. He began to speak, more inaudible words coming out out his mouth. The first man grabbed Skye and she knew better than to resist. The metal circle then began to transmit sound back, a response in the language of the men. The man who was holding her arms behind her back finally spoke,
"Move," He said, his accent sounding a bit off. The word was forced and not seeming to be familiar to him. The man gave Skye a nudge forwards and she stumbled on her feet. They walked like this for awhile before reaching a glass room with a large meeting table. There was a strict looking lady with pure white hair who sat up perfectly straight, her hands folded onto her lap. Next to her was a burly man with a long beard, different artistic lines shaved into his hair, and piercing purple eyes. On the other side of the woman, the person that sat there was none other than Zoro. The woman gave Skye a smile. She motioned her hand towards an empty white seat. Skye stared at it and the woman and then back again.
"So sorry about the language confusion. They were speaking Appallion, you see. Their English is very limited," The woman said. "Now please, take a seat."
"No," Skye said, staring the woman directly in the eyes. The woman raised her eyebrows.
"I beg your pardon?" The woman said. Her voice was smooth, yet icy and evil as ever. It sent shivers down Skye's spine.
"I said, no. I don't know you you are," Skye started to say, before she looked at Zoro. "Well, actually, I know you. I just hate you." Skye said, seemingly pleased with herself. Zoro rolled his eyes, putting his hand to his forehead in frustration and annoyance.
"We get the point, you're stubborn. Now please, sit down," The woman spoke out, clear aggravation in her voice. Skye slide over to the seat and sat herself down, showing no enthusiasm at all. "Fantastic, thank you for cooperating. Now! I'm sure you're very curious about everything that's going on, so let me explain. My superb spy, Zoro that is, got you from Earth, convincing you that you were going home. It might seem cruel, yet let me tell you Skye, you are in danger. My name is Urenda Maffia. Your father and mother want to take you. We just want to help you."
"How exactly would they be kidnapping me? I mean, they're my parents. They technically have custody over me," She said, crossing her arms. Urenda rubbed her temple in dismay.
"I don't really know how to tell you this, but your parents are bad people. Really. Your father takes in different species, saying he'll provide comfort to them, and instead enslaving them. Your father is a monster. Your mother is, too. She refuses to do anything about it." Urenda said, sighing. Her eyes locked into Skye's, trying to prove her point.
"How do I know to believe you, huh? Not very likely that I'll believe the person who kidnapped me, thank you very much," She spit out. Just then did Skye realize that she had sprung out of her chair in the manner of this discussion and was leaning her hands against the table. Her chair was pushed back onto the floor. "Maybe if you didn't treat me like a prisoner, I wouldn't feel like one," She continued. Skye was about to say more, but when she opened her mouth to speak, nothing came out. She furrowed her eyebrows together, and tried to talk again. No sound, nothing, was coming out. Skye looked down at Urenda in horror.
"Cooperate. You will not be able to speak until you do so. Now that I can speak without this annoying, high-pitched voice piping up, we can get somewhere. The Juperian Apalans look to conquer the solar system, galaxy, and eventually all of space. Saturn is just the start. Us Neptunian Apalans want to bring back the land. After all of the damage to Saturn all those years ago, it's an environmental garbage bin. All of the trash," She coughs, adding in, "-old satellites from you Earthlings,-" Urenda continued, "is being pulled there. If Saturn is not saved now, it will never be saved. It will grow as the polluted mess it is, and the planet will die. Simple as that. The Juperians look to turn it into a place for factories, for them to build their spacecrafts and rockets. They plan for demolition. We plan for reconstruction. Who do you choose, Skye?" She inquired, finally finished.
Unsure if she could talk or not, Skye let out a little squeak. Relieved to find noise there, she looked back up at Urenda.
"I'll help you. I do have some conditions, though. First, I get to talk to my parents before you guys probably kill them. Secondly, we are going back to Earth to retrieve my sister. Third, you will not get Earth involved in your petty war. Lastly, you will never control my apoilanis again. Do we have a deal, Ms. Maffia?" Skye said, crossing her arms and leaning back into her seat.
"Your conditions are reasonable. All except for one is possible," Urenda said, sighing a bit. Skye cocked an eyebrow.
"Really? And which one is that?" She asked, a bit babbled. Urenda turned to the side to look directly at Skye and leaned her elbows forwards onto the table.
"Your sister. She's not on Earth. They have already retrieved her to Jupiter."
