Ruby's Little Faunus

Welcome to Beacon Academy

Soar's POV:

I open my eyes to hear someone talking through the intercom of the airship, "We will be arriving at Beacon Academy in approximately 5 minutes" I look out the window and sigh with relief. I take out my headphones and look at the sleeping girl next to me and poke her, "come on, get up sleepy head."
Her eyes slowly open and she let's out a cute little yawn, "w-what is it Soar?"
I smile and look at her, "We're almost at Beacon."
She opens her eyes as wide as could be, "REALLY," she jumps up and looks out the window "THERE IT IS.. COME, COME LOOK."
I get up and walk over to the window and look out, 'There it is, my new school,' I thought. Ruby jumped around with excitement and I smiled, 'she's cute when she's excited.. or anytime really.'
A voice comes on the intercom "We have arrived at Beacon Academy," finally the door of the airship opens up and Ruby takes off toward the building, 'Finally we've arrived'. I step off the airship and take a deep breath, "Feels good to be off that ship."
Then I hear a bang up ahead so I rush toward it, when I arrive I see Ruby on the floor getting scolded by some white haired girl and I giggle.
Ruby looks toward me and rushes over to me smiling brightly.
The white haired girl looks at me, "do you know this girl?"
I nod and look at Ruby as if to ask what she did.
"Well this dolt knocked into me so I suggest you tell her to watch where she is going from now on," she finishes.
I look between her and Ruby then nod to her, "and may I ask your name?"
She huffs, "Do you really not know who I am?"
I lean in closer trying to get a better eye, "no I don't know who you are at all."
She looked at me as if I was crazy, " Well I'm Weiss Schnee, heiress of the Schnee Dust Company."
I smile and put my hand out, "Well my name is Soar, Soar Clover, nice to meet you Weiss."
She looks at me the walks off without saying a word. "Wow that hurt," I say as I look at Ruby, "We should probably go inside, we wouldn't want to miss the opening ceremony."
She smiles and grabs onto my arm as we walk inside, 'My dreams of becoming a huntress are finally coming true.'
