It was after school. Ethan and I were in my room. We sat at my desk. We were making a plan.

"So ill be timing out first." He says. "Well, supposedly."

I nod as my chin was in the palm of my hand.

"I did all the math in class today. Ill be timing out at 12:34. Right at lunch break."

"So, how are we going to do this?" I ask. "I have to stop missing classes, my mom and dad had went crazy at me for missing classes."

"We won't miss class. As soon as the bell rings we meet at your locker because it's closer to our classes."

I nod and Ethan begins to write.

"They say you find the one you love when you least expect it. We'll go to the building as quick as we can. We'll try to delay it."

"Ethan-"

"We have to ignore everyone. Make sure that I'm focused on leaving school. Make sure that my attention is fully on you."

"Ethan, just-"

"It's going work." He says sadly. "Please, just go with it."

I take a deep breath and I nod. "Okay."

Ethan looks back at the paper and leans back on the chair. "This has to work."

"We can only hope."

I look at him and he has a small smile on his lips. We had four more weeks until Ethan would time out. We were both afraid. That's all we had ever talked about.

I hear a knock on the door and I grab the paper and I turn it over to the blank side.

"Come in." I say.

The door opens slowly and I see my dad. He crosses his arms and leans on the frame.

"Hello, Ethan."

"Hello, Mr Woodridge." Ethan replied.

"What are you two doing?" He asked.

I smile as I grab the paper, waving it around. "Working on a school project, of course."

"Of course." My dad says sarcastically.

"Did you want anything else?" I ask awkwardly.

He looks at us suspiciously and shakes his head. "No... No, I just came into say that dinner will be ready soon. Ethan is more than welcome to join."

"That's okay Mr Woodridge. I should get going."

My dad just nods and leaves the room. Ethan gets up and grabs his bag. He hugs me and kisses me softly.

"Ill see you tomorrow Woodridge. Ill be out there at 8."

I nod and he kisses me once more before he leaves.
