Their Not So Love Story

Chapter Three

The place seems peaceful, not until they arrive at the hospital. Yui leave and went to the Raikage to inform him that Sakura is finally here. While Sakura observe the place.

It is much busier than at the Konoha hospital. she thought. She also notice that the facilities are not enough to accommodate all the patients.

She asked the head of the hospital and they talk about it.

"Finally, Sakura-sama you're here" said the head medic-nin with much hope.

"Err, just call me Sakura" she's not comfortable strangers calling her like that. "So how's the situation?" She ask.

"Unfortunately, the number of patients keeps increasing." The medic-nin said in a sad tone.

"Will you give me the files please" Sakura asked and the medic-nin immediately give it to her. It took her a while reading it carefully. Then she went to check each patients.

"Well, may I know where is your library? I need to do a research" She asked. The head guide her and left her there. The medic-nin is needed in an operation. Sakura spent 3 hours studying the case until

"I knew it!" She exclaimed. "It is caused by a poisonous mushroom" she told herself. The pinkette immediately told the head about it. They ask most of the patients what they eat before they were sent at the hospital and she was right. They told the Raikage about this and he inform the villagers about it. All products that has mushroom that are sold in the market are confiscated. They also told the people to be aware of what they eat.

Meanwhile, Sakura examine the said mushroom and went to the market to buy ingredients for the antidote. Yui accompanied her and help her bought things.

"As expected, you really are genuis!" Yui said amused. Sakura blushes, she's not used by people praising her. "Its not yet done, we have to make antidote and I am not sure if it'll work." She said feeling nervous.

"I know you can do it!" He cheered. "Remember the first time we met? we were on a different mission then. We do not know each other, but you still help me. My life was in danger that time, you also said that you are not sure if it work, but look at me, I'm perfectly fine and healthy. I owe you my life." He sincerely said looking straight in her eyes.

"Thanks." She humbly said and look away.

They arrive at the hospital and Sakura immediately went on the lab to make antidotes. One by one she heal the patients. And luckily the antidote she made looks effective, the poison that is spreading in the patients body, little by little disappear. Other medics can't do anything so they just assist her. She almost lost her chakra by the number of patients, but Yui is on her side and gave her some and help her in the operations.

It took them 2 days straight to finally finishes the treatment. She's very exhausted and she collapsed. Yui catches her immediately and called a nurse to help her. She's almost asleep for the whole day. She woke up and saw Yui on the chair sleeping beside her. She stare at him for a while until he finally woke up.

"You've been sleeping the whole day" He said standing up to help her seat. Sakura still feels exhausted.

"Thank you" she said. Yui went to the table and grab an apple and peel it.

"Here, eat this until I come back. I'll just go get some foods for you" he said and walk out the room.

She ate the apple in silence. Suddenly, she felt someone but it is not clear to her since she don't have enough chakra to sense it carefully. She was about to stand up to find who it was when the door suddenly opens.

"I bought you a soup, the nurse said that you should eat lightly." Yui gave her the soup.

He was about to feed her when "I can manage it" Sakura grabs the spoon and bowl from him.

He just watch her until she finishes her soup and let her take the medicine.

"Sakura-chan" Yui stated in a serious tone.

Sakura became aware of it, "yes" she replied.

"I- I wanted to say that I am very grateful to you" he sincerly said to her. "Ever since the day you treat me, as I stare into your emerald eyes..." he trailed off but Sakura stays quiet and listens. "I already know that you are a great person, and I wanted to say that" he stopped, taking a deep breath before continuing, "I-I like you" there's a moment of silence between them. Sakura decided to break the silence.

"Yui" she said "you too is a great person...." She look at him. "But sorry..." she saw a water forming in his eyes, but he diverted his. "Cause I'm already in love with someone" her thought trailed about a certain ravenette.

"I guess I'll go out to get some fresh air". Yui said then he left.

"Yui" she said and felt guilty.

She stood up and went to the window. She look up at the night sky and the moon. Then she saw a shadow on her peripheral view.

"Sasuke-kun" she take a look at it closer but it disappears. "I am imagining things now" she shook her head and went to bed to sleep.
