When I first started writing on this sight, I had one goal in mind.
Write my heart out and have fun. I didn't expect I'd ever get to where I am now. 1k followers, making rankings, my first real book hitting over 90k reads.
It's insane, thank you all.
However, when I showed my best friend this account after I made it we had a conversation that shaped my goals.
"Do you think you'll become popular?"
"I don't know. Hopefully? Probably not."
"Do you have a goal?"
My original goal was to...not have a goal. To write. To pour my heart and soul into my fan fiction for others like me to enjoy.
"...maybe to hit 1k followers?"
Thus, the stage was set. Some may say I only wrote for followers and didn't actually care, but I did care. I loved it. I loved all of your comments, your fan DMs, the love I was sent through every notification. Even when I wrote some crappy hormone-induced throw up, you read it. You read it and praised it, even when i was gone for months.
Don't worry, I'm not deleting the books. They're going to stay, but I'm leaving. I'm a high school student now, about to approach 10th grade. I have goals to be a graphic designer, and I can't write anymore. I don't have that passion anymore. For what it's worth though, I had an awesome time here. I never would have made it here without all of you.
Fun is not forever. That is okay, though. Because now I can focus on other passions. I'm opening a new chapter of my life. You all have been so amazing to me, so caring, so forgiving.
This is my good bye, Wattpad. I wish you luck in all of your endeavors.
