The Consouloids lunged at each other and their blades clashed; they pushed against each other as their wielders ground their teeth and looked each other in the eyes with mutual disdain and blood lust. The force of the blades' auras forced their wielders backwards a few feet.
When Satara got back onto the wall and kicked off of it, a torrent of water spiraling towards her like a waterspout sucked her in and knocked her back against the wall, thanks to Spire's tablet attachment.Zerrin closed her eyes and swung the Frost Cutlass vertically to turn it into a pillar of ice. She kicked it to send it swiftly towards her opponent; however, Satara wasted no time in slashing at the block to create shards. She stirred the air with her blade above the pile of shards and sent them upwards in a spiral accompanied by sounds of wind gusts. The shards pointed at Zerrin and Spire as though they were floating, icy daggers.
The wielder of the Frost Cutlass had no time to think before the shards were swiftly blown into their direction; therefore, Zerrin impulsively stabbed the ground at the last minute and created a short, thick wall of ice to shield her from the attack. Some icy daggers safely traveled past their target and into the wall while some of them bit her synthetic skin and summoned tiny splotches of red. As for the rest of them, they pelted at her defenses.
The wall of ice was broken by Iris's sword and turned into a white powder. Spire whipped up the air with his tablet and shaped them into snowballs, to which Zerrin quickly united them into a single snowball and sliced the air vertically to surround it in frost. Satara laughed and wielded her weapon. "What is this, a fight to the death or a snowball fight?"
She stepped in some water left behind from the waterspout. She couldn't escape it since it coated the floor now, but it seemed immune to the icy sword. At this point, the frost glazed snowball was massive. She batted the snowball with the flat part of her friend's sword to send it swiftly to Satara's side. Thanks to her quick thinking, however, she counter-batted the ball of ice and snow and sent it back towards Zerrin. Once again, Zerrin swung at the snowball and it spun frantically whilst being held still by the blade. Thanks to the aid of Spire's water manipulation, he used it to force it to soften so it could be thrown back easier.
"Enough!" the snow was smothered in gusts of wind that tore apart the snowball and shaped as much snowy powder was available into ice shards once again, this time they were much sharper and glazed in the same hard frost Zerrin used to glaze the snowball. They all swiftly turned towards Zerrin and Spire just as Satara let out a chuckle. "I was merciful with the last batch of daggers. Now take this!" She sliced the air horizontally and a horde of ice blades were sent in Zerrin's direction.
"Now!"From across the room, Zerrin forced an icicle to suddenly emerge from the ground, even shocking Satara to the point of falling into the puddle Spire created earlier as Zerrin dove into the puddle next to her.
All of a sudden, Zerrin found herself behind the rushing onslaught of flying ice daggers whilst Satara found herself in her enemy's place. She didn't have enough time to think before she settled on just using her blade to slice the daggers apart, but this sideways hailstorm managed to cut her arms, legs, and torso; some shards were close to cutting her Choker in a way that would've killed her instantly. Many of the shards embedded themselves to the concrete wall, and suddenly jutted out to form an icy prison by trapping her limbs.
Using the last thread of telekinesis she could find and grasp, Satara sliced her restraints with her sword and managed to get her arms free, but her fists were still encased in a thick layer of ice. She then saw a shadow on the ground that loomed over her and looked behind her shoulder to see Zerrin with her sword raised with rage in her expression. "Clever girl." Satara taunted under her breath before twisting her body to ram Zerrin's torso with her newfound icy gauntlets.
