    It had already been a few minutes in this wretched place and I despise life as it is. "Okay campers go to your shitty tents then go make shitty friends that won't remember you when you leave! Then meet us in the shitty mess hall and get ready for our shitty camp activities!" I mock David in a high pitched female voice.

      "M-Max..- um yeah what he said" David added. He didn't even want to say 'Max language'.

     I walk to the tent Neil and I shared. I threw my duffle bag down on the ground and started putting my stuff up. Neil did the same. It was quiet but that's how it was for a few minutes. I looked at Neil as he pulled out a wrapped box with a note attached onto it. "Awe a present from your Daddy~" I walked over to him and read the letter.

   I grabbed the wrapped box and opened it. I look at the box and read what it was. A pack of condoms. "Woah Neil your only 15 right?!" I asked and looked at him with a 'oh lord' look.

     "16 really my dad is being a weirdo though. He really thinks I'm going to hit it off with a girl ha no way!" He said and grabbed the box and stuffed them away. " So you swing for men~?" I ask and smirk at him.

   "Oh lord your back at it again with the gay remarks. Did you're bigg gay." Neil responds he cheeks getting a little pink.

     God I love this child! His hair, eyes, how thin he is, his lips, everything. I get caught in a trance and start staring. I do this a lot. Nobody really catches me so I am fine. "Max stop starting at me it makes you more gay than you already are." Neil said with half lidded eyes while folding a shirt.

      I snap out of my trance and go back to unpacking. Neil and I keep talking for a while. I could listen to his voice for hours on end. I loved his voice, the intelligence he used in every word. It was hours later but felt like a few minutes. We heard David's voice in the background. "CAMPERS COME TO THE MESS HALL FIE DINNER AND AN ANNOUNCEMENT" I groan and Neil and I head to the mess hall.

     As we sit down David starts talking. " Okay campers in about a week we are having an event. There are going to be inflatables, candy, pizza, pop etc. And we will give you all a shirt! We are calling it 'Camp Day'. So we just wanted you to know." He finished and we all got our lunch.

        "That sounds dumb" I say as I sit down beside Neil and Niki sits down across from us.

      "Max you have to give some things a chance! It sounds better than camp activities."Niki said and rolled her eyes. "Yeah Max Niki is right." Neil said.

         " okay jeez I'll give it a chance! Just chill." I say and fumble with my food.
