"Brooklyn!" My mom Samara yelled. I groaned and turned over in my California Queen bed covered in Pink and Cheetah print bed set my whole room was Cheetah and Pink they clash so good together. "Brooks mom said get up" My 12 year old little sister India said opening my door. "It's the first day of summer break damn let me sleep" I groaned.
"I'm telling mom you cussed" India said. "Indy get out" I said calling her by her nickname." Brooklyn get up somebody here to see you" My mom said. "Okay get out tell them to come back at a reasonable time" I pulled my blanket over my body. " Brooks baby it's 2 I think it's pretty reasonable" She said. Oh no 2 I had to be at dance practice with my best friend Hayden at 12:30.
"Ma is it Hayden?" I questioned sitting up. "Yes" She said leaving out. I threw the covers off of me and went to wash my face and brush my teeth. I'm Brooklyn Annmarie Hanes I'm 17 soon to be 18 I live pretty good. I have both parents in my life they are happily married my mom Samara and my dad Nick. I'm pretty well past that I'm a baddie (Brooklyn is Aaleeyah Petty to the side) I live in a good neighborhood and I couldn't ask for anymore.
I walked out my room to see Hayden in her shorts, tank top, and Black Airforces I cracked a small smile. "Hey bestie" I said. "No don't hey bestie me you were supposed to come with me I called you multiple times Brooks" She exclaimed. "Sorry but it's the first day for summer break I need the sleep but I promise I'll go next Thursday" I said and kissed her cheek.
Hayden waited on me as I got in the shower and got all cleaned up I put on my smell goods like lotion and deodorant. I put on my underwear and matching bra and got dressed in a Black leather skirt, White long sleeve crop top, Jordan Concords. I left my curly hair out and sprayed on perfume and grabbed my Iphobe 5 and purse.
I walked out my room Hayden was scrolling through her Galaxy s4 I smiled and we walked outside and got in her Silver two door BMW. "So I gotta go shower now then we going to get my cousin Michelle" She said pulling out the driveway. "No she loud Hayden and she don't like me but shit ion give a fuck she don't want none" I said being honest I don't sugar coat shit.
"No it won't cause you fight my cousin I'm jumping in baby family first" Hayden said just being honest that's why we best friends. "Right" I said pulling my phone out my purse. "I want to go summer clothes shopping" Hayden said. "Right I'm very limited to summer clothes they all got to small my booty got bigger so you know" I said bouncing in my seat. We busted out laughing Hayden looked down at her Gas meter and shook her head.
"I swear Zach is not driving my car no more he never fill it back up" She said referring to her on and off again boyfriend he sells drugs to make a little money but he ain't big balling. "My opinion is you need to leave him be he uses you Hayden" I said. "Ion wanna hear today Brooklyn I love him when you find love then talk to me about Zach but until then baby don't" She stated pulling into the gas station.
It was some boys blasting music laughing and what not they was cute for the most part Hayden smiled at me. "Somebody driving a Audi girl they gots money" She said getting her wallet. "Mhm they getting paid" I said in a smile. "Or they dope boys" Hayden said busting my bubble. She got out the car I shook my head as some boys looked at her then a Benz pulled in all fast and parked next to the Audi.
A tall light skinned boy got out boy was he fine he walked up to the boys dapping them up I looked to see if Hayden saw what I saw. She got in and we both were dazed I couldn't look away. "Girl the things I would do to him" Hayden said with a smirk. I laughed at her stupid self her phone went off playing I won a trophy telling her it was Zach. She quickly answered I shook my head and sat back still looking at that fine boy I smiled a little.
"No Zach...okay fuck you too...don't call my phone no more bye" She threw her phone down and got out and went inside. The boy glanced at me before he got in his car he didn't smile or anything it was like a 2 second glance he sped off.

I sat on Hayden's bed as she got dressed she moved super slow all the time it makes me mad sometimes. "Ion know what to wear Brooks" She said looking in her closet. Hayden is very pretty she Light skinned with Long brown curly hair and a very nice shape. "Well will you hurry my card is ready to get swiped" I protested.
My phone went off playing August Alsina's Porn Star telling me it was a text it said:

I busted out laughing Hayden looked over at me Hayden has a brother his 13 his name is Jamel and India likes him. "Aye Mel here?" I asked. "Nah he at his friends house. Why?" She asked. "Indy wanted to know" I replied.

I shook my head and put my phone away Hayden came out in White shorts, Orange V neck, White Airforces. She put her hair in a tight high ponytail and put a orange headband on it. "Simple I like" I said walking out. "Thanks let's go get Michelle" Hayden said.
We pulled up Michelle's apartments I sighed I could feel Hayden looking at me but I'm not even gone look that way. Michelle came out in Blue leggings, White crop top, Brown sandals I rolled my eyes. She had her poetic justice braids in a bun I got out to let her in she looked at me then got in. "Keep cool Brooks" I mumbled to myself.
"Omg wait a minute there go Ant" Michelle said pointing to the same Benz from the gas station with the fine ass boy. "You know em Michelle?" Hayden asked. "Yeah he fine I want em" Michelle said. I almost laughed what would he want with her she's pretty don't get me wrong but her personality makes her ugly. "Let me out I gotta say hey" She said. I sighed and let her out she ran over to Ant he looked at her and smiled they started to talk.
"His so cute" I mumbled more to myself than Hayden. Michelle pointed over to us I rolled my eyes I really hate her. Michelle ran over to us I rolled the window down she bent down. "Imma meet y'all later I got some business to handle with Ant" She said smiling. "Go head girl" Hayden said. "Bye Brooklyn" Michelle said with a smirk. I blew air out my cheeks Hayden rubbed my back I smiled at her stupid self.
"That's cute" Hayden said picking up a Maxi skirt. "We should get matching ones" I said picking up my size. "You gone look good in it girly" Hayden said looking on other racks. Michelle stormed in she looked mad I couldn't help but giggle she cut her eye at me Hayden shook her head.
"What's wrong Michelle?" Hayden asked. "Ant he don't want me he wants my cookies like no I thought he wanted this" She whined. "Girl let it go it's okay other fish in the sea" Hayden said looking at shirts. I saw Ant he was laughing with some boys I looked at Michelle I guess he embarrassed her I shook my head. I don't like her but I hate childish boys I handed my things to Michelle and walked over to the boys.
"Excuse me" I said. They looked down at me they stop laughing and smirked at me I blushed but I had to get to the point. "You hurt her feelings ion get why boys have to be so childish" I stated. "Look ma yo girl should've known ion get tied down I hit and split I'm not a nigga to be all lovey dovey with you" Ant said. Now in my eyes he was unattractive he is one of them niggas. "I don't have time" I said and turned to leave.
"Look girl they childish just let it go" I said taking my things and finished shopping.
