"Omigosh, so then he was like-""Will you shut up?" I roll my eyes at the stupidity of this girl in front of me, whom I happen to call my best friend. She laughs, tossing her hair. I wonder how I ended up friends with her. "So, how about truth or dare?" I shrug, having no better ideas.
An hour later, it's her turn. "Truth or Dare?""Dare, easy." Then, what causes me to end up falling in love...
"I dare you to go kiss the hottest stranger you can find, but he has to be single."
"No, Regina, no." She laughs, teasing me about how cowardly I am. Eventually, I give up and head outside.
I spot my target quickly. A young man around my age. (19) He has brown hair, and from here on the street corner, I think brown eyes as well. I walk up to him casually. He is a full head taller than me, so I look up and tap his shoulder. He turns, and I can see that his eyes are in fact brown. He smiles, and I almost faint. I realize that I am staring, so I break the ice. "Are you single?" Before he finishes shaking his head, our lips collide. He pulls away, shocked. "It was a dare, I'm sorry." He chuckles. With a smooth and also sort of rough voice, he speaks the words that change the way I look at my best friend. "Maybe, we could do that again."
