It was not just another day at Reese enterprises ,it was the 3rd Monday of the month And the much devil of a boss was about to make an appearance at the company head quarters any moment after lunch.

There was a hustle in the staff and everyone alike... but an eerie silence filled the minds all the same

There was a long queue of candidates waiting to be interviewed by the head of the HR department ,the charming Mr. Callahan... the blue eyed man was much adored by most of his employes for his humble nature and sensitive attitude much different from the CEO !

Though he was a happily married guy, the happiness of being a father had eluded him for almost 8years now.

He was still okay with what god had already blessed him with. Clara was an amazing woman and even after all these years that woman made him love her more and more each day!

Devon Callahan was one of the closest confidantes of Leo and he was aware of the incoming storm any moment!! this was not without reason ..even after the security measures being world class there had been a leak of important tender papers to a rival firm which resulted in the final acquiring of the deal by the opposite camp. This had left Devon fuming and he could only imagine what havoc would Leo bring!!

Being with his best friend of almost 15years now ...he knew Leo inside out.. he knew why he was as ruthless as the world knew him and equally soft hearted at the same time ...the soft part of him carefully wrapped somewhere inside!!

He knew of the trouble Margaret had caused him those 5years back when they were all set to marry!!

And he knew that it would be deadly difficult for another girl to ever make a place in his stone cold heart now ...

Devon had married his childhood sweetheart at a young age of 23 and thought Leo would follow suit as he was a good 5 years younger than him and deeply influenced too!! He was the elder brother Leo didn't have..

He felt bad ...terribly bad for Leo at times ,as he had lost his father at the age of 18 and had to take on the reins of the company ! his mother though very concerned and loving towards her son... Found herself immersed in other charitable causes to come out of the misery her husbands death left her in!!

Clara knew Leo half her life too and was also pestering Devon to hook Leo up with someone ..so that they could see him smile again ...' Dev please.. don't you see its high time that you take matters in your hand regarding Leo ...he's almost 29 now and he deserves to find the happiness that we found' !!

Devon had already made plans to broach the subject with Leo once he was here but the new issues at the company ... Were bad enough to put Leo in a really foul mood and any other topic right now was really danger zone !

The candidates Devon interviewed for the position of executive in corporate sales ..till now were okay but none left a spark in his mind ..'there are 6 more to go before lunch'...He thought tiredly !he knew they wanted no one but the best and he had to schedule another interview line-up tomorrow of he didn't find his candidate today.

'Sir, can I please come in'! Brian ,their head of sales ..made an appearance at Devon's door ..

'Please Brian ..do have a seat and let's make it fast ...huh' !

Brian knew that Devon was a very nice boss and would never mind any employee work queries.

'Sir, one of my sister's friend has come down all the way from Cobalt bay to look for an opportunity at our company..I'm not asking you for any favors but please try to enroll her for today's interview as her mother is bed ridden and she needs to return tonight' Brian requested his overall head of departments..

After giving it a thought ...Devon wrote down the girls name and comforted Brian with a positive to his request!

As soon as the girl walked through Julia towards her boss's cabin, she caught a vibe that she is going to be it!!

After working for 8 years at company she knew exactly what kind of people suited the company's standards!!

The girl was decently dressed in a pink blouse with dark blue slacks which matched her eyes ! she had radiant red hair and her complexion so creamy that it gave the illusion of an ever present blush ..she was more than presentable and going through her resume she was definitely a little over qualified for the job.. but girls and boys from small places though well qualified had to come to the big cities to take up jobs ..she surely fitted the kind of person they were looking for and by her calm and polite demeanor Julia was sure that the newest interviewee would go places !!
