Come Again?

When I say they appeared infront of me,I don't mean they appeared right infront of my face.
No, they were in the picnic shelter thingy laughing and talking.

My eyes spotted them before my great breakdown could make me sink to the ground and I hastily ran behind a tree, composing myself to watch them more carefully.
The girl was pretty, fawn colored beach waves framed her literally tanned/sunburnt oval face. She had hazel eyes which were easy to spot. She was dressed like that Margery woman only without a veil, in a red, long tunic. The boy was also wearing a maroon tunic, shorter than that of the girl. Everyone around here seemed to have sunburnt skin..., he had thick, full eyebrows and kind brown eyes with a broad nose. He looked like someone in his 20s but next to the girl he looked like a teenage boy, especially since they were giggling like schoolchildren.

I was still wary of any crazy people but I had to take a chance, I had to approach someone to get out of here. Who better than teenagers my own age?. I mean they looked harmless enough..
It did not take a genius to figure out that they were a couple with their happy, puppy love faces. The girl abruptly looked around warily and I immediately tensed, had she sensed someone was around?. I leaned more into the tree and finally, after careful scrutiny, her eyes seemed to relax and she turned to the boy. I still wasn't relaxed and I remained wary.

She nodded shyly to the boy and he broke out in a grin, clearly happy over whatever she agreed to.  She walked away from the guy at a distance which confused me. But he did not seem to mind and followed her, going out of my view. Shit!. I needed to keep a watchful eye on them, so I could make my decision of approaching them or not.

I crept quietly to another tree some distance away and remained hidden, from where I could observe their actions. They seemed to be nervous and shy now. The girl smiled coyly and looked away while the boy slowly came closer, he seemed to hesitate for a few seconds before making his move. They looked lovingly into each other's eyes before he took her face in his hands and lowered his face to hers, inch by inch. Before my suspicions about what was going on could register, he had planted his lips on hers in a chaste, rather modest kiss.

They were kissing!

As I realized what was happening, they moved their lips more quickly against each other, as if savoring each other. It was unusual to see a kiss this slow for me, since teens in my school make out like two dogs in heat. Their chaste pecks had given away to more fervent, forceful make out and before I could react or think, they were full on snogging. It made me feel very creepy to hide and watch them like some kind of pervert and a part of me did not want to interrupt their sweet session. Afterall, no teen likes to be disturbed when canoodling with their partner, right?. I know I won't. However, I was in a possibly life threatening predicament here, so I had to skip the manners and privacy completely. If I didn't approach these hopefully innocent teens, I could end up in god knows what situation by those crazed people.

With this resolve, I forced my body to come out of hiding. It took all my willpower to physically force my legs to move from the comfortable safe space to the vulnerable, exposed position outside of the trees. I fixed my eyes on them and they were completely oblivious to anything or anyone around them, interlocked in their passionate exchange. Maybe I should just leave when I have the chance....

NO! I yelled at myself internally, putting on a brave front. I have to do this. Taking a deep breath, trying to calm myself the F down, I managed to call out:

"Hello?"

No response.

I guess I have to be louder for these lovebirds to come out of their trance...

"HELLO!?"

The sound of my voice immediately froze them, as their eyes popped wide open. They jerked themselves apart quite a distance, the color draining from their faces. Their faces displayed an absurd amount of fear and guilt as they frantically looked around, to locate the voice. I forced myself to speak out once more,
