not really about a certain band member, just something I wrote once.

I watched as he walked over, giving me a small smile as I slowly cried. We made no sounds, savoring the moments we spent together. Even with our differences we loved each other, but sometimes those differences killed us inside. Maybe we weren’t meant to be,but the times we had were good enough to make it all okay.

“Don’t torture me, or beg me.”

As he reached me, his hand made it’s way to my cheek, but that only made me cry harder. This isn’t right, my mind whispered to me. But as usual, I ignored it. My hand made it’s way up to touch his, my palm slowly getting warmer and warmer, until it started burning as if I touched fire. He pulled my hand towards his lips, kissing them. With a gasp, I pulled back as if I was harmed. I was of course, but the look of utter defeat and helplessness on his face made it seem so much worse. The bridge we were standing on started to sway, giving us a signal to show how little time we had left.

The wind just blew harder, ruffling his black hair. I bristled, my wings behind me shaking out. I looked down, suddenly shy and unable to look at him. He pulled my face towards him, and looked deep into my eyes. My chin got warmer and warmer, making me pull away once again. Cursed, my mind thought. I looked at his hand, which was slightly steaming due to the contact of my tears against his consistently hot skin.

As the wind blew harder and harder, we held each other, ignoring the pain simmering between us.

“Don’t bother, because this love is a lie.”

The bridge underneath us collapsed, and we fell silently to the bottomless abyss beneath us.
