Telling Him You're Pregnant

        Lately the past few days you've been throwing up. As usual, Andy was at the studio recording. You and Andy had been together for 3 years, and your love was still going strong. As you drove to the pharmacy you thought about all the good times 

you guys had. There was the amazing first date, the day he wrote you a song and sang it at the mall, and the tour you tagged along on. Everything was amazing, but if you were pregnant, would he leave you? 

*Skip to the part where she's testing* 

        Urinate on the stick then wait five minutes. Okay. You muttered to yourself. As you put the stick on the counter, you fidgeted around. What if you were pregnant? You had a steady photography job, you were old enough, and you could afford an apartment.  The timer beeped, and you jolted back to reality. On the tiny screen, there was a pink + sign. Your heart stopped. The first thing you did, though, was text Andy. 

     

              'Hey babe, when are u getting home? '

              'Soon maybe an hour or so'

              'Oh okay. Anyway, I'm cooking tonight cuz I have to tell you something.'

               'Okay babe, I gotta get back to recording. See you later, i love you!'

                'Bye, love ya too'

You walked to the kitchen. You decided to make alfredo chicken with butterfly pasts. Right as you finished, Andy walked in. 

                'Oh! You're home early!'

                'Yea! Smells good babe! Let me change and we'll eat.'

  As he went upstairs, you prepared yourself to tell. He came down soon in pajama pants and a tank top.

        

                'Andy?

                'Yea?'

                 'I'm Pregnant'

He stopped in his tracks, and turned to look at you. 

      

                   'Really?' 

                   'Really'

     

You looked down, bracing yourself for the worst.

Instead, two strong arms picked you up. 

                    'Yes! I'm gonna be a daddy! '

You started laughing at his enthusiasm. He screamed that he had to tell the boys, but you stopped him. You guys ate dinner and the whole time he was talking about how excited he was.
