Chapter 2: My Ultimate Secret

"You're a..." Angela found it hard get the last word at but she shouts it "adorable!"
She says trying to pet Sokato.

"Huh?!" Sokato says dodging her pet attack.

   Sokato got quickly dressed after that. She put on a long gray T-shirt that went down a little pass her knees. She sits on her bed and Angela sat behind her petting her while humming happily while she explained everything.

"So yeah... I'm a Hecki." Sokato says blushing. "I'm just surprised you're not weirded out by it."

"No I'm not weirded out. I was surprised at first but then I figured that it just made you cuter. So why argue with it?"
   Then Angela started swaying side to side still petting Sokato.

"That's good I guess" Sokato says with more agitation in her voice. "And one other thing..."

"Hm?"

   Sokato stands up pushing Angela hands off her and turns around. "Stop petting me! Its embrassing!"

"Oh, but your too adorable not to pet." Angela says with her hands out in a grabbing motion.

   Sokato flicks her tail in front of her grabbing it like she's afraid of Angela.

   Angela stops when she noticed Sokato's tail, she almost forgot about her tail. "Oh yeah, hey Sokato, how come I never noticed your tail before?"

   She just says "oh! That's because I wrap my tail around my waist and tuck my shirt over it like this." Then she gives Angela a quick example then unhides it again.

"So that's why in gym class you're always last to change... But why hide that you're a Neko?"

   "It's hecki first off..." Sokato thinks for a moment then looks at the ground. Talking in a gentle voice "Its because if I was figured out, the government most likely would take me away and treat me like a new species... probably be tested on to. And I don't want that because I'll be taken away from here... From you, and you're my only true best friend. So can you please keep this a secret from everyone."

   The flash on Angela's phone goes off when she took a picture of Sokato. Angela took out her phone when Sokato was talking without her noticing.

   Sokato gets in Angela's face, she couldn't tell if she was mad or embrassed. Because her face was red but her expression was in between

"W-what are you doing! Didn't you just here what I said?!"

"Yeah I did, but I just want one picture. I promise not to show anyone. I'll only print one picture, please."

"That's not the point," Sokato says quickly grabbing Angela's phone, fumbling with it, and turning around. Quickly deleting the photo. "I can't risk what I am." After she deleted the photo she tossed the phone back to Angela and she catches it. "No pictures! Got it!" Sokato says getting in Angela's face again.

   Sokato tail waved behind her angrily which mad it hard to take her seriously, but Angela agreed.

"Fine, I got it." Angela checks her phone to see the time. "It's getting pretty late I better start heading home. You know how my mom is, she's pretty scary when I don't return by curfue."

   Sokato said okay and Angela went to the door but stopped in front of it. She knew that sokato really wanted to keep her species a secret so she had to reassure that it was okay with her.

"Don't worry, your secret is safe with me." She says without turning around.

"Thank you."

"Oh and one other thing," Angela knew she couldn't pass this comment to say, "you might want to put your tail more down because its kinda lifting up your shirt and showing the tiger picture on your panties."

   Sokato's ear twiches in reaction. Sokato blushes grabing a stuffed toy mouse and was about to throw it at Angela but Angela quickly left the room and closed the door. Angela hears a thud hit the door.

"Don't look then!"

   After a moment of silents Sokato assumed that Angela left. She sits on her bed groaning in disappointment.

"What I'm I going to do know... Angela knows and I can't let my dad know that she knows."

Sokato sighs laying down on her bed

"Even though how goofy Angela is, I'm going to have to trust her to keep my secret."
