I nearly jump out of the bed in a cold sweat. Its been almost a year since I left him. A year since he almost killed me and ran away leaving me for dead. I looked to my alarm that read 5:51am, " Four more hours until my official first day in college. I got up from my bed and walked to the bathroom to take a shower to get this sweat off me. I took off my shirt and noticed the faint, but prominent scar near the center of my chest. I got fully undressed and jumped in the shower ready to start my day.
7:20am, I walk into the kitchen to make myself some breakfast when Jin enters the room with his neatly made up hair and his multi-shaded blue jacket and red hat.

"Morning, Jin. Did you sleep good last night?" I asked while pouring some water in a cup and drinking it .
"I slept alright for a nervous guy who is about to start school at a well-renowned university. How about you? Did you sleep well?" He said reaching for the frosted flakes and a bowl.
"I uh I slept great. Just had a terrible nightmare about him." I said looking down at my feet. I'm still scared if he is going to find me since I've moved far away from where we lived.
