Thousands of cherry blossoms twindling in the light; though I can't hear your voice, keep what I say in mind.

I plug my earphones on my ears.

I am quite an avid music lover; I love listening to music. I can't survive without listening to at least a song a day. I especially love Vocaloid songs, especially the song, 'Senbonsakura'.

I personally like to play the (F/I). It calms down my mind whenever I play it for some reason. But I like all the other instruments as well.

But there's one person who can somehow sing and play instruments better than whoever's voice and whatever tune I hear. That person is Carrot.

Wait, did I just say that...?! I don't like him, even though he kind of does.

He somehow likes to shower me with his random composed amatuer lyrics. He is also being quite ridiculously affectionate with me.

He isn't usually acting like this around other people, only me.

Well, lucky me, I guess.

I stroll down the sidewalks, with cafes and shops and trees and people surrounding me. The condo where I live is near the street that looks like a public park, with lots of trees and grassy spots here and there. Carrot also lives near my condo, unfortunately.

In a nearby cafe, I see my best friend Bowling Ball sitting alone on a table for two people. I call her name and wave. She brightens up and gestures me to sit with her.

"I brought both of us a coffee," announces Bowling Ball cheerfully.

"So... how's life?" I ask, and take a sip of the coffee. It tastes creamy and bitter. She sighs.

"Gumdrop still has Swimmy, (Y/N)," she says, shaking her head.

Swimmy is what she consideres her 'pet tree'. It was given to her by a friend. Gumdrop, one of the most annoying brats ever known, stole Swimmy from Bowling Ball a few weeks ago. My best friend never had a chance to hold it since then.

I hold her hand. "Don't worry," I assure her. "We'll show Gumdrop who Swimmy really belongs to."

A small smile curves in Bowling Ball's lips. "Thanks," she whispers. That small smile then turns into a big smirk. "Let's talk about something else! So, how's your relationship with Carrot?"

I almost choked. Relationship? This girl doesn't get it. I don't like him more than a friend!

"We're only friends!" I yell. I swear I can feel my cheecks burning. Probably because of embarrassment. "Friends?" echoes Bowling Ball. She raises an eyebrow. "Are you sure about that, (Y/N)?"

I nod violently. "O-of course!" I stutter.
"Uh huh, sure," Bowling Ball's smirk fades. "(Y/N), if you would just stop being a tsundere and stop putting Carrot in the friendzone, he's gonna be happy. Very happy."

I cannot seem to find the right words. I try to gather them as I take a sip of my coffee. I imagine Carrot holding out a cup of homemade coffee for me, singing me one of his composed lyrics.

Wait, why am I thinking like this?!

I almost spit out my coffee.

I do not notice Bowling Ball laughing like crazy at me until now.

I just stare at her, confused. "Why are you suddenly laughing so loud?" I ask.

"You have no idea how stupid you look right now!" she laughs. "You look like a hopeless romantic trying to concentrate on what your best friend's trying to say! But instead you just find yourself imagining your crush and his very romantic acts!"
She covers her mouth with her hands and continues laughing. "(Y/N), you're imagining romantic scenes with Carrot! Just admit it already!"
