Lucy's Confession (For Nalu Week)

Lucy POV:

Today's the day where I finally confess the popular flame boy, Natsu Dragneel. He was a cheerful, reckless, loud mouth idiot. He had flaming pink hair and a white scarf that he always wore. He and I were close friends. I didn't know what made me fall for him. Maybe it was his adorable smile, or how he always seemed to brighten up a room. Whatever it was, it set butterflies in my stomach.

I pulled Natsu outside and led him to the back of the school.

"Natsu I can I talk to you in private?" I asked.

"Sure," He said.

I brought him to the back of the school. I stopped and looked down at the ground, too nervous to face him.

"Natsu, I-I-I I like you!" I managed to squeak out. My face turned bright red. Those three words were the hardest thing for me to say. I looked up and stared at his bright eyes. I could tell he was surprised.

"Ehhhhh?" He looked at me confused.

"I said I like you!" I yelled at him. Natsu just stared at me. Then he started to laugh. What? Why was he laughing? "N-Natsu?" He looked at me and smiled.

"Lucy you're so funny!" Natsu laughed. I was in utter shock. How could he laugh at my feelings like that? I closed my eyes and felt the wet tears streaming down my face. I was rejected by him.

"Natsu how could you? I seriously like you, you idiot!" I whispered. I looked at him. His face blurry and my eyes were filled with tears.

"Lucy what's wrong?" Natsu asked. He didn't get it.

"Natsu you idiot!!!" I screamed and ran away. There was no way I could face him. I knew liking an idiot like him was a waste of time. I should've known.

I stopped running and sat on the floor of the empty hallway. I buried my face in my knees and cried. A few moments later I heard the sound of footsteps. I looked up to see Natsu standing in front of me. I quickly wiped my tears.

"What do you want?" I hissed. He already broke my heart. What did he want now? He looked at me sincerely and blushed.

"Lucy I'm sorry. I didn't know you were serious." He said, "The thing is, I actually l-l like you too...." Natsu looked down at the ground. I could see that his face was a deep red. My eyes brightened. Did I hear right? I was so confused.

Nastu kneeled down to me and pushed his lips against mine. I blushed. He pulled away and looked into my eyes. I was overjoyed! I smiled and hugged him. I'm glad that I confessed to the popular flame boy.
