Doki Doki Literature Club: Our time ( Monika x Reader)

Chapter one: Our Time

Normal POV:
MC and Monika were walking down the street, just a couple of blocks away from their house. "MC, we're almost there~! Ehehe--" Monika sees MC's gloomy face, and begins to wonder. "MC, I know that look. What's wrong..? Don't you like spending the day with me?" Monika pouts. MC is startled by Monika's words. "What?! No.. Monika, you know I would give anything just to be alone with you. And here we are! A happy--"
"Happy?" Monika looks at him with a stern look, creeping up on her face. Her eyes narrow, as if trying to read MC's mind. " Just then... you were the opposite of happy.." MC grimaces.
"MC... you can tell me anything. You know that, right?" Monika grabs MC's hands and squeezes them tight. MC sighs.

MC POV:
I can't do it... I can't tell her.. if I do, she would refuse almost immediately. "MC. Tell. Me." She glares at me, with an obvious tint of worry, shining in her emerald-green eyes. "*sigh* Monika, you really know how to get me to talk..." I chuckle. Monika grins. Then nods, signaling to tell her what's bugging me. I take a deep breath. Mustering up all the courage I have in me, to tell her this without pulling her trigger. "I... I miss the club.." I see Monika's eyes widen, even though my vision is focused on the floor. "It's getting lonely, with just the two of us. I was thinking... if it's okay with you.. if we could-"
"I understand." Monika smiles softly. But even though her sweet smile is strong enough to pierce through mountains, I know there's something wrong. It's Sayori, isn't it...? I desperately want to say, so we can talk it out and make her feel better. I keep quiet, hold her hands and lead her back to the house.

Normal POV:
Monika smiles sweetly at MC, though she knew deep inside it meant having to risk her love life with him by bringing back Sayori and the others. She was especially worried about Sayori, knowing that they were in love once. MC sees the slight distress in Monika's eyes and sighs softly. "Come on!" He beams "lets go home!! I'll cook something special for tonight..!" He grabs Monika's hand and jogs with her to their house.
