"Okay. Whatever. You don't have any strength to do that anyways." Brooke says.

I growled a little and pushed them away from the girl and I noticed that it was Charity that they had against the locker "You'll pick on a freshman who can barely defend herself!?" I shout angrily at them

"Yea. It's easier." Crystal said.

That made me angry and I continued to push them away from Charity and once I got them away I went and grabbed Charity's things before grabbing her hand and walking out of there "Are you doing lunch right now?" I ask and she just nods "Good." I say and walked to the lunch room and saw Jane and Maria sitting a different table than last year and in our table sat four of the other popular seniors and juniors. I just sighed and went to Maria and Jane and sat down with them. "So, how has you're first day been?" I ask both of them

"Okay. Not good, not bad." Maria responded "Yours?"

I think about it and blush "Great." I say

"I can tell. Something happened." Jane says finally speaking up

"Maybe. Maybe Aaron Lycan drew a picture of me when the teacher said draw someone who you would like to be with." I say blushing

"Oh, my goodness! That's amazing! That means he's liked you!" Jane says excitedly

"I know. It's amazing. I made my picture of him. Sadly, the bell rang before I could give it to him." I say with a small sigh

"I think it's really beautiful." Someone said from behind me making me turn around and see Aaron standing in front of me

"Y-you like it?" I ask a little shocked

"Yea! It's amazing. Such great detail." He says with a small smile

I was happily about that and a smile crept onto my face "I'm glad." I say. He then placed a small envelope onto the table in front of me that said, "Open alone." I smiled as he walked off I wonder if he's asking me out? Maybe a family dinner? I mean his parents do run a large corporation. I think to myself curiously but wait until I got home to open it anyways. The day went by fairly quickly. I was happy to finally get home "I'm home!" I yell out and received no answer "Probably at work then. Good." I say and walk upstairs to my room grabbing out the envelope wondering what it was and slowly began to open it with a smile and taking out the paper inside it.

I open up the note which looked like an invitation to a party. I read, "Hi Ms. Valkyrie. I wish to invite you to my family's annual fall masquerade dance. I know it's sudden but I would really like you to come with me." I blushed at this and happily called the number in the invite

"Hello?" Aaron says answering the phone

"Hey. It's me Rose. Thought I'd call to let you know that I will go with you to your family dance." I say

"Really? That's great!" Aaron says happily to me "I was hoping for the answer." He says

"I can't wait to join you. Just got to get a dress and a mask." I say

"I have one I want you to look at." Aaron says

"Bring it to school tomorrow? Maybe after school I can try it on." I say happily

"That would be great! I have a matching suit so everything should be fine." Aaron says

"Well, let's just see how it fits first." I say

"Okay, see you tomorrow." Aaron says

"See you tomorrow." I say before hanging up and squealing in happiness "Yes! I can't believe he asked me to his family dance!" I say in joy squeezing a stuffed wolf plushy tightly

"Hey, Rose! We're home from the wedding!" My dad yells from downstairs

I remember Oh, right, they went to my aunts wedding. I thought to myself before getting up and coming downstairs "Welcome home." I say to them with an excited smile

"Hey there dear." My mom says, "How was your day?" She asks

"Great!" I say excitedly, "My crush asked me to go to his family's annual fall masquerade." I say giggling

"That's great!" My mom exclaims

"What would be wearing?" My dad asks

"He's bringing me a dress to try tomorrow." I say, "It'll match his suit." I finish

"Oh?" My dad says, "Hopefully I don't have to bring a gun."

"Dad!" I exclaim making him laugh

"I'm kidding with you." He says chuckling

"You better be." My mom says jokingly

"I am trust me. If you like him, I like him." My dad says

I was glad that was the case. I was kind scared something bad would happen. Aaron is a sweet guy who wouldn't hurt a fly, but at the same time would if he needed too. I smile and walk to the kitchen to begin making dinner. I was always making dinner because my mom and dad always liked my cooking. I didn't mind cooking and baking for them as long as it made them happy. I'm hoping to teacher someone, anyone, how to cook and bake so they're ready for the future when they're on their own to live.

"So, what's for dinner tonight dear?" My dad asks curiously

"Jägerschnitzel." I say proudly. I had just learned in my cooking class how to make it. It's a German dish and so delicious

"Sounds delicious." He says before grabbing waters and sodas for us to drink as we ate

"That does sound amazing." My mom chimes in

"Good, because I'm not making anything else." I say with a giggle

"So, I can't see a menu?" My dad asks with a laugh afterwards making me laugh
