Here's chapter 3. Chapter 4, COME AT ME BRO.

I didn’t know why I told him. I guess I just needed someone to vent to. After all, he asked for it, being all Mr. “Try Me”.
Once I was done explaining. I looked at Jack. I could tell by the look on his face that he was still taking in all the things I told him.
“So you’re telling me that you lived here before and you were close with Landon. Then you left to go study music in LA, and when you came back, Landon and Talia, aka your worst enemy, became a couple despite the fact that they hated each other before.” Jack said, and all under one breathe too. I nodded. Wow. He said it so effortlessly. He told my whole story under one breathe, while I was blabbering on about my whole life story.
“In a nutshell… yes.” I said. He looked at me with wide eyes like he couldn’t believe what his ears were receiving.
“Wow. Sucks.” I folded my arms together and looked down as he said it.
“Yup. Definitely.” He looked at me sympathetically, but I knew he didn’t know what to do. All he did was look at me with pity.
I dropped down on my queen bed and dug a pillow right on my face.
“Oh Jack. I don’t know what to do. Losing Landon to Talia is like taking something that was once a part of me.” My muffled voice was cracking in between syllables.
“Have you talked to him yet?” Jack questioned. I looked up from my pillow towards him, his mossy green eyes were staring into my dark brown ones.
“No.” I meekly replied in a low whisper.
“Well then, go talk to him.” He started to dig through his jean pocket and a moment later he pulled out a sleek, black cell phone. I shot him a curious look.
“Now?”
“Yup.” He said his eyes still scrolling through his phone. I shot him another questioning look. This time he looked up. “What?”
“How do you have his number?” Jack shrugged.
“We play lacrosse together.” He replied.
“Wow.” Jack smirked at my comment.
“Why? Are you impressed by my athletic abilities?”
“No. But I am impressed with Landon’s. First football, now lacrosse?” I sounded incredulous, I know, but who could blame me? The Landon I knew never had an athletic bone in his body!
Jack frowned at my statement. He went back to searching through his phone.
“Here we are.” I watched him as he pressed the green call button. His phone buzzed as it rang. Jack handed it to me.
I took the phone and looked at it. Was this really the best way to talk to Landon after three, apparently long, years?
I pressed the red disconnecting button and handed the phone back to Jack. He gave me a curious look in return.
“I have a better idea.”

Knocking on his door was probably the hardest thing I decided to do. I had to talk to Landon. Face to face.
“Are you sure you want to do this?” Jack asked, waiting with me on the door step of Landon’s house. I gave him a friendly smile.
“Yeah.” I replied.
