Staring the laundry earlier than usual Sheldon hoped Amy wouldn't question it because a) he hated being ask one too many questions and b) he knew she'd never allow him to do what he was planning to do that night. Amy had called earlier that day to let Sheldon know she'd be back around 8:30 but at 8:17 he was out the door. Finally at 10:08 he was home.
"Amy I'm back" he yelled .
He didn't get a responses so he walked over to Lenard's old room which now belonged to Amy.
*Knock knock * "Amy"
* knock knock* "Amy"
*knock knock * "Amy""What?" She said softly but loud enough for him to hear . Sheldon opened the door letting himself in.
"Are you upset with me, Amy?"
"Of course I am "
"But Amy it was a sale ! On trains! You know how much I love trains!" He said exasperated .
"Leave me alone Sheldon" she pulled the blanket over her head.
Sheldon could hear her sniffle a bit, trying to hold back her tears. She did this whenever she wanted to really cry, she knew it made him uncomfortable to see someone cry so she sniffled to herself.
"Amy" Sheldon said feeling guilty seeing her like this.
"Leave!" Amy yelled more furiously.
He walked up to her and got on his knees to get closer to her face which was laying on the pillow he got especially for her. He gently pulled the blankets off her face and sat on her bed and pulling her on his lap, her head laying on his shoulders.
Cupping her face with one hand, he kissed her gently on her lips.
"I'm sorry "
She smiled back at him and kissed his cheek . "It's okay" she whispered .
He kissed her again "I love you, Amy"
