Chapter Seven

Third Person POV

"Jem!" Dan said to the person on the other line. "Hey Dan." "Thanks again for letting me out." "You've thanked me at least twenty times, Dan. Thank me again and I'll turn you in." "Whoops, sorry." "Why'd you call?" Jemma asked. "Oh, I just wanted to see what's going on." Dan replies. "I'm at a hotel and I'm having lunch with a guy named Nathan." "Wait, Nate? What's his last name?" "Paristic?" Dan throws his phone on his bed and rubs his eyes. "Hello? Hello? Dan?" "Bloody h***!" Dan yells, as he picks up his phone and sets it to his ear. "What's wrong?" "He's Katie's husband!" "..." "Hello? Jem?" "I asked him if he was married to her." "What did he say?" Dan asks quickly, twirling the end of his fringe around his finger.

"They got divorced." "I gotta go." "Oh, ok. Bye." "Love you, bye." "Wait, what?" Jemma tried to say, as Dan hung up. The boy packs his belongings and rushes out of his room and to the elevator. Once he's at the lobby, he runs across the street, to his car, and speeds to Katie's house, not caring about the red lights or the stop signs, or even someone crossing the street.

Knock knock. "One second!" "Hello?" Katie says, opening the door. "Da-?" Dan cut her off by leaning in and giving a harsh, messy kiss, which makes Katie fall to the ground, her and Dan's lips still locked together. Katie was the first to push away. "D-dan what is w-wrong with you?!"
"Sh-sh**... I'm sorry.." Dan apologized, even though he wasn't sorry. "Y-you can't just barge into my home and make out with me!" "But you and Nate aren't together anymore." Katie's jaw dropped, not knowing what to say. "I love you Katie, I really do. I want to be with you. Please! I'll... I'll change!" Dan says, grabbing Katie's hands.
          "Mommy, who is that?" Lily asks, walking down the stairs. Immediately, Dan covers his mouth with his hands and his eyes widen. He runs over to Lily and picks her up, spinning in a circle. "Oh you're so cute!" He says, hugging her. "Dan, get away from-"

       "Lily!" He yells happily.
