i woke up from my bed and took a shower. i went downstairs and saw my mom cooking breakfast for me.

'goodmorning mom' i kissed her cheek.

'goodmorning sweetie. today's your first day at your new school. nervous?'

'no mom, i cant wait to meet new friends.'

'here you go.' and she handed me some pancakes.

'yummy.' i said while eating it.

'your school starts about 30 minutes. i guess we should get hurry.' she said as she ran upstairs to dress up.

i picked up my bag and puts my earphone on and listening some music while still waiting for my mom.

'bye sweetie. have a nice day at your new school.' my mom said and she drove away.

i took a deap breathe and walked inside my new school. then i suddenly bumped into someone.

'oh sorry.'

'its okay,im fine. hi,im zach by the way.'

'summer.' i said as we shaked hands.

the bells rang and we went to our class.

i went inside the class and everyone were looking at me. weirdly.

'oh you must be the new student. please come in. class,meet our new student.' the teacher said.

i walked in and stood infront. nervously.

'please introduce yourself.'

'hi im summer diana helmington. im new here. me and my mom just moved here a week ago. hope we can be friend.'

'nice,miss helmington. well,you can sit next to mr.herron.'

i walked and all people were staring at me. i smiled. and i sat next to that boy.

'hi,nice to see you again.' the boy said.

'zach? we're in the same class. hah i didnt expact.'

'yep, hope we can be friend.' he said and smiled.

i smiled back and focus on our class.

i opened my locker and picked some stuff. i closed my locker and surprised to see zach standing next to me.

'oh my goodness zach.'

' am i scaring you?'

'not really. what do you want.'

'lets walk to the canteen together.'

'sure.' i said to him and we walked to the canteen. many people we're looking at us. some other whispering.

the new student and the popular guy in school. how is that possible?

i walked to my next class. i saw zach with some pretty girls surround him. zach was looking at me and smiled. he's cute whe he is smiling.

the girls noticed zach and looking at me. they glared at me. i sat next to this girl.

'hi,you must be the new girl. im jasmine. jasmine violette.' she said.

'im summer diana helmington. you can call me summer.' i said with a sweet smile.

'such a pretty name same as your face,' she giggle.

'im not pretty. im just an ordinary girl. well,who are the girls that surrounding zach?' i asked jasmine.

'they are the mean girls and also popular. they also cheerleaders.' she said and rolled her eyes.

'wait,you know zach already?' she said.

'yep,i bumped with him a couple hours ago. why?'

'nothing, he is also a popular guy in school. many girls want him and crushing on him. you know what,let us just dont mind about them.'

'hm.' i said while looking at zach.

the school bell rang. i walked to the door. then suddenly, i fell. 

'ow.' i said while picking my stuff.

'well,well,well.  look who is here.' a girl said.

she's the girl who surrounded zach just now. its three of them.

'what do you want?' i said and rolled my eyes.

'why did you looking at zach just now?'

'its none of your business.'

then she slapped me. it hurts so much.

'look,im doing nothing to you.'

'new kid,new victim.' then she slapped me again.

'stop it,ariana.' her friend said.

'yes,stop it,it hurts her so much.' the other said.

they are twins.

'shut up,kylie, kendall,or you will get the same as her.'

she raised her hands and someone cuts her off.

'stop ariana!' 

we looked at the person. it was zach. he ran to me and help me to stand up.

the girls stared at me and walked away.

'are you okay?' he asked me.

'im fine.' i smiled.

'let me help you.'

'thanks.'

he smiled back. his smile melt my heart. he is so sweet.
