After Loki's defeat against the Avengers, he got locked up in a cell in the Stark Tower, at least for the time that the Avengers agreed on what to do with him. Tony Stark took a decision. During that time, someone would have to study the Prince of Asgard, they would have to understand his complicated, twisted mind and watch after him, giving him some sort of company. And it was the perfect, but tough, job for a young psychologist like you. And if you had to be honest with yourself, it was surprising that Tony Stark had choose you over many other Professional psychologists known in New York City, maybe he picked your name randomly and then, boom, you became the ' Lucky soul ' that had to study the mind of a mischevious God.

On your first day Tony and you programmed a schedule together, some sort of timetable. You started at 2:30pm with an examination of Loki's mind, your job, usual job, until 4:00pm. And from 4:15pm, after your break, to 9:15pm you just had to watch him, spend time with him in a more friendly way. You had no clue why but you knew it was part of the job Iron Man hired you for, you had no choice but to do so. ' Hmph, I'll figure a way to pass time ' you thought to yourself.

As Tony guided you to Loki's cell, your mind was wandering off in the elevator. You were wondering how the god that attacked New York looked like, and the question that stayed in the corner on your mind came back. But it was too soon to ask your employer that question that was burning your lips and scratching Inside your neck.

When you arrived in the last corridor, your boss suddendly stopped and unlucky for you, you were walking just being, you didn't notice that because of your wandering mind and ended up bumping into his back. He didn't say anything at first, simply because it wasn't worth it but the thing he was about to say was much more important.

" Listen. If anything happn, there's a buzzer in the room. Just press it and we wil all come over and help you. But only, if it's something too dangerous. Got it ? "

You didn't say a word, just nodded shyly as you held tightly on the straps of your bag that was only containing your computer, a bunch of papers and a pen to write notes if your computer ended up empty of battery.

Tony Stark walked in the room to accompany you for a bit, just because it was your first day, but he left right away, placing a hand on your shoulder and wishing you good luck before leaving the room. Leaving you alone with the God that was already standing in front of a sort of glass that was separated in the middle. Half was what seemed like the room for Loki. Although there was a door behind, probably a bathroom.. He might be a prisoner and a God.. He still needed privacy.

When you turned your head and saw the God of Mischief looking at you with a smirk on his face, standing straight and his hand behind his back with that smug look, you felt like you could not hide anything from him. And you couldn't. He was a God after all. But yet you kept yourself straight and settled your bag on the near table. The room was more cozy on his side than yours, the walls on your side were white and so was the floor and the ceiling, there was just a leather sofa and a black low table in front of it, that's where you placed your bag and your computer. You thought that for your first session you could just stay there and talk to him for a while.

You looked over to Loki that didn't move a inch, his gaze following you everywhere you were going. " Greetings " he said with a low voice, and now you just head what he sounded like. You greeted him back and stood in front of him behind the glass, he was taller than you that was for sure.

" How am I supposed to call you miss ? Doc ? I mean, isn't what you are ? You, humans, think I'm insane, don't you ? " a chuckle came out of his throat, his gaze never leaving you, like he was scanning you and reading your mind. " I'm just as sane as you are. "

" That's for me to tell, God of Mischief. " you answered with a neutral tone.

" Oh come on, please, I think we will have to stick together for while. Call me Loki, would you ? "
