So Cassie's eyes change color depending on her mood. So in the fighting picture her eyes are yellow indicating she is mad. In her school picture, her eyes are pinkish red indicating she is happy and is like a blush to shy girl
Jay doesn't change much but he does get mad and will do anything for Cassie and her best friend.
Brooklyn obviously doesn't change very much because she dies liken a quarter ways through so....... yeah happy days oh happy days.
