Chpt. 6

Angel P.O.V.

"David how about we stay in tonight and not do anything. I like that idea." No reply. "David??" I walk out of the bathroom and don't see him in my bedroom. I walk to my bedroom door but I hear murmuring by my window. "Baby." A female voice draws out that word. I walk over to the window and peer out above them. I see David standing with a woman outside on the porch. It's probably just a work friend or someone I think to myself trying to stay calm. I mean why would my mate cheat on me we're mates. Like a mate isn't suppose to do that anyways.  I start to listen to there conversation when I hear my name. "Baby when are you going to reject that whore and stop sneaking around with me." She leans on him and I feel my heart break a little at the action. "I will just give me some time to figure out who her parents are to see if she's loaded and if she is then I'll marry her take her money, then marry you, we'll have a beautiful family together.

Can you wait a little longer I have her wrapped around my finger and I promise we'll have a wonderful life together soon my little butterfly." My eyes widen at the nickname. That's what he calls me. Maybe this is all just a horrible prank that he wants to play on me. Then she leans in a kisses him. It feels like my heart just broke into a million pieces. How could David cheat on his one month pregnant mate. I start to cry and I feel my wolf pushing to take control. ' What the fuck he can't do that to us I'm going to kill him!!' My witch Jayde yells. I let my witch take control because I can't handle this heartbreaking feeling of rejection. She marches straight downstairs, rips the front door open to see that girls and David still smashing faces. Which just fuels her anger even more. David pushes the girl off of him. "Angel it's not what it looks like." He looks guilty but Jayde knows better than that.

"Don't, you know that Angel is a witch and you know that she can put a curse on you, with just the snap of her fingers. She could ruin your life in less than a minute." David's eyes get wider if that's even possible and he eyes glass over like he's going to cry. "Oh don't even." Jayde narrows her eyes. "Wow she can't fight can she, she just makes her little witch do it for her." Jayde's eyes snap towards the girl. "And who might you be." "I'm Meghan David's lover." She says with a proud smile on her face. "Well Meghan I would keep your pretty little mouth shut before it disappears forever. Meghan looks a little taken aback, while David steps in to her rescue. "No need to threaten her she didn't do anything." "Like hell she did you were sleeping with her behind Angel's back and know both of you are going to pay!"

Before Jayde could do anything too rash I took control and blocked our link so she couldn't yell at me. A tear slid down my face as I saw Meghan and David together. "Is everything alright here?" My neighbor Jack asked. "Yeah every-" I cut David off before he could finish his sentence. "No, nothing alright here I need to get out of here is it alright if I stay at your place." Jack can see that I'm on the verge of bursting out crying. He has a mate and she's beautiful her name is Jessica. "I'm sure Jessica won't mind." Jack and Jessica have a baby boy that's two years old this year his name is Shane. "Let me go get a bag of stuff that I'll need." I turn to walk away. "Angel please don't do this." I turn back around my eyes burning with rage. "Shut the hell up David you were just using me and you knew I was pregnant with our baby but guess what you're never going to know be or she because I will never let a child of mine know who their true father is.

Now I need to leave." I turn around go into the house and pack a bag. I walk upstairs go to our room and pack a bag of clothes holding the tears in. I finish and go downstairs. "She's not going with you asshole." David didn't notice that the I was out there until I shut the front door. I saw that Meghan was MIA, as soon as  I made eye contact with David my toes seemed pretty interesting the next second. "Angel please." He comes up to me and tries to caress my cheek but I flinch away. "Alright come on Angel let's go." Jack grabs my arm to lead me to his house but we didn't get two steps away from David. "Angel please stay with me I'm so sorry." Before Jack could say anything I beat him to it. "Why don't you tell Meghan that the house is free tonight and she can spend the night with you." "Why would I do that?" "Stop playing dumb you worthless piece of shit! I thought mates were supposed to love and cherish each other.

Not cheat and lie to each other!!" I scream at David and left him in the driveway. We arrive at Jack's house in a few minutes. Jessica comes out of the front door and runs up to me. She tackles me with a giant hug and I can't help but let the dam break. "Oh my gosh Angel are you ok?" I sniffle. "I'm fine now that I'm here and not with him." "Oh sweetie you must be exhausted, here come in and we can get you settled in our guest room." "Thank you Jessica." "No need to thank me Angel, you know I would do anything for you." Jessica gives me a reassuring smile. "Awnty Angwel wut arwe you dwoing hewre?" "She's going to be staying here for a little bit bud." "Shane what are you doing up didn't I just put you to bed." "Sworry mommy." "It's okay baby but you need to get to bed okay?" "Owkay." Shane giggle a little after he says that. I follow Jack up to the guest bedroom and go to bed for the night.

~time skip 8 months later~

Nova P.O.V.
What the fuck I'm being forced down a tube. Nooo I don't want to leave yet. Eww I'm all wet and slimy. I can't breathe!!! Hey your hand away from whatever your hand is near. I can breathe! "Wa wa wa" what the fuck is that me!? Wait where are you taking me?

Angel P.O.V.
"Wa wa wa" that's my baby. "It's a girl. What's her name miss Rose." "Her name? Oh yes her name, umm her name is Nova yes Nova Rose."
~Time skip 6 Year's~
My Nova is five years old now she will be going to kindergarten pretty soon. She's grown up so fast.

Nova P.O.V
"Hey Shane you wanna play dragons?" "No thanks Nova I'm reading a book. Do you want me to read it to you?"  "Sure!" I sit in between Shane's legs with look at the things that Shane told me were words  while he read to me. As Shane read his words lulled me off to sleep. I wake up to Shane carrying me to my bed. I fall back asleep. "Nova baby wake up it's dinner time." I open my eyes and rub them groggily. "Mommy?" "Yes baby it's me." I reach my little arms out waiting for her to pick me up. Mommy picks me up and carries me to the dinner table. We get to the table and eat dinner. Mommy decides that it's time for me to take a shower. I take a shower, brush my teeth, and put my Pjs on. "It's time to go to bed Nov. Go say goodnight to Uncle Jack and Aunty Jessica and Shane." "Okay momma." I head out to the living room and she Aunty Jessica with Uncle Jack cuddling. "Eww you guys are gross."

I giggle Uncle Jack looks at me. "Ah so we're graced by the presence of princess Nova." "Yes, you are I have come to bid you both a good night." "Where did you learn those big words my dear Nova?" Aunty asks "I heard them in a book Shane was reading." I gave a toothy grin. "Well hurry up we don't have all night for our goodnight kisses now do we." Uncle Jack gets up and runs towards me. I scream as he picks me up and twirls me around. "Goodnight princess Nova." "Goodnight Uncle Jack." I kiss him on the cheek. "Goodnight babygirl." "Goodnight Aunt Jessica." I kiss her on the cheek and run out of the room to Shane's room. I knock on the door twice. "Come in." I opened the door and peered in. "Shane?" "Over here." I walk in and close the door behind me. "Can you read me a bedtime story tonight?" I ask. "Not tonight Nova I have school tomorrow." I look down at my feet.

"Okay, I just came to say goodnight anyways." I walk to Shane's bed where he's laying and gave him a side hug. I kissed him on the cheek like I do every night and left his room. "Goodnight Nova." I slightly hear him say but he usually doesn't say goodnight to me anyways. I walk into me and my mommy's bedroom. "Come on sweetie crawl into bed and we can go to sleep."
~Time skip to 4th grade~
Schools almost over and I'm so ready for it to be over who thought fourth grade would be so exhausting. I run out to the playground as the recess bell rings. Shane has been distant lately but that's because he has other friends and momma told me not to bother him at school anyways. I look up and see my friend Jace being beat up again. I run up to the bullies. "Hey! Leave him alone." (A/N: Ik it's a little cliche but oh well.)

"Oh yeah and what are you gonna do about it?" One of the bullies ask not looking at me. He's about to say something to me when he turns around and sees my dark red eyes. He looks at his buddy and they both run leaving Jace and I. "You ok Jace are you hurt?" I start to look around him to see if he's hurt. "No I'm fine Nova." "Okay because if I ever see them bothering you again I'm going to beat their asses." "I'd watch that mouth of yours Nov wouldn't want your momma hearing you talk like that." I turn around and see Shane. "Oh hey Shane didn't see you there." I grab Jace's hand and Shane's face twitches a little at the action. I shrug it off and walk right pass Shane with Jace. Momma told me to leave Shane alone while we're at school and I'm going to listen to my momma. Welp the school day's over now I have to walk home. I'm so excited I get to see my mom. As I get closer to the house I see momma outside the house arguing with someone a man.
