Dipper lifted his head. He blinked his sleepy eyes a few times and looked around. He stretched his legs out. They were a bit stiff from laying curled up for so long. His ears twitched, listening for any danger. When he deemed it safe, he stood up. "Today is the day.""Today I'm going to unlock a great mystery."
Dipper was following a lead for a secret group of foxes going around stealing peoples memories. Today was the day Dipper would finally find them, or so he thought.
A loud gun shot echoed through the forest. Dipper bolted behind a tree. The forest went silent. The only sound that could be heard was the slight snapping of twigs.
A figure stepped into the clearing, of which Dipper had been sleeping in moments ago. The figure had a set of antlers on his head. Dipper looked over the figure carefully. It didn't have four legs like the other deer an him. Maybe a half deer, or a quarter deer?
He stepped out of his spot behind the tree. He could see some blood on the figures clothes.
"Do you need help?"
The figure looked at him.
"Sure...."
A gruff voice came from the figure or rather Deerman. The guy coughed and knelt on the ground. Dipper walked to the man, kneeling down next to him. He looked at the man's eye. It was bleeding pretty heavily. He moved the hair out of the man's eye. The man looked directly at Dipper. He grinned. Dipper's eyes widened. He was confused. The man pulled a small gun out of his pocket. Hunter. Dipper thought then heard a phump come from the gun. Everything went fuzzy and Dipper blacked out.

"Damn this kid is heavy."
The man was quite used to carrying these things, but this deer was heavy for him.
He's such a scrawny thing though.Almost there.
His cabin was about a mile or two away. He didn't care about the distance though. This was his prized deer. He had been keeping track of him for a little over two years. Now, he had him.He had come up with a plan to lure the deer to him. While keeping tabs on his deer he had learned of his helpfulness and caring nature. He knew that if he looked injured his deer might try and help him. He had been correct of course. He always was...
He simply made his eye bleed and grabbed a pair of antlers from his collection. It was almost too easy."Damn, the sun is going down."
He pressed on. He had to reposition the deerboy a few times so he was easier to carry, but he managed.
He wasn't afraid of the dark or this damned forest. He would keep going until he reached his cabin.
The wind blew over them, carrying the sound of wolves howling nearby.
"Shit."
He put real feeling into that word."Screw it."
The hunter snapped his fingers and they were suddenly in front of said cabin. The hunter snapped his fingers again and the door swung wide. He walked in, careful of his deer's limbs.
He set the deer boy down on his couch, propping his head up with a few fluffy pillows.
He took off his gear and set it by the door."Tea."
He walked into his kitchen and began making some milk tea, which he thought should appeal to his deer....
