"This just in: Avenged Sevenfold is hosting auditions for a new Scream Girl Dancer! Yes! So, all you aspiring scream girls get a chance to strut your stuff and become a scream girl! All you need to do is go to their website and apply with a video and resume as well as fill in the audition form and just wait for their team to contact you if any further interviews are required!
Now I'm here with the boys themselves! Boys, what are you looking for in a scream girl?"

"Well Dallas, we're definitely looking for a chick who knows how to move to the rhythm, but they also need to have a good personality, that's easy-going and doesn't mind being on the road with us,"
"I see, Shadows, I'm sure all your fans would enjoy being on the road with you guys!"
"That may be true, but it is incredibly hard being on the road for a few months at a time, away from family and friends. We're extremely lucky to have our friends work with us, so it is a little easier but it doesn't mean that our relationships can be strained at times,"
"Well thank you boys for that little insight on things, I can't wait to see who you have chosen to be your new scream girl for the new tour coming up if all things go well!"
"Thanks, Dallas, it was our pleasure,"

I squealed in pure happiness, forgetting that I was in the middle of a lecture. I heard a forced cough from the lecturer, which forced me to look up at him embarrassingly. I looked around the lecture theatre and saw multiple eyes staring my way for different reasons; envy, admiration, and sexual desire just to name a few. I smiled sweetly at my lecturer, who wasn't hard on the eyes if I might add. But I do have to say he does not compare to Mr Brian Haner Jr.

I cannot explain the feelings I get every time I see that man on any type of screen or even with my own eyes. His eyes, his smile and even the way he plays guitar. Just seeing his fingers run up and down the neck of the guitar just gives me chills. I do have to say, as well, his voice when he sings is just pure heaven. I know Matt is the lead singer, but it's always nice hearing Brian's voice come through when he sings; it's so unique and dynamic.

I slowly closed my laptop and looked up at my lecturer, oddly his name was Matt.
"I'm so terribly sorry Matt, I just got some exciting news," I apologised, looking as innocent as possible.
"Would you like to share with the class, since you interrupted my entire lesson?" He replied, asserting himself as the dominant male. I believe he would also be dominant in the bedroom, I just have a hunch that's what he would enjoy doing- also there's been some rumours. All of them about me, of course.
"Only if you want me to Matty," I said, leaning forward and placing my chin on my hand as I smirked and raised an eyebrow in an insinuating way. I knew that this would make flush red, and maybe start a few more rumours. Oh well, people can talk.
"No, no, that's fine, let's continue," Matt replied, his face went red as he tried to continue on with his lecture. Not a lot of people were listening now, they were too busy discussing what had just unfolded in front of them. I nodded slightly ad Matt and opened my laptop up again smiling all-too-knowingly.

I could hear a few things that the girls were saying. She probably just found out she's pregnant, or her abortion appointment was moved up. I heard that she fucks Matt here after every lecture, can you believe her?! She's such a slut. I felt these same girls staring my way as they spilled lies. I looked their way and waved.

I had no time to worry about what other people were saying, I need to think up a routine and fill out this application!

I sighed happily as I sat down on the lounge in the comfort of my own house. I took in the peace. I must admit that I loved living alone. I am pretty young I suppose, but my family are well off, that's for sure. So, I grew up with people who would run around after me trying to fill my every demand to make my parents happy. My mother is the CEO of Vogue Paris, and my father owns one of the most successful international shipping companies in the world.

Money has deeply influenced their lives, and mine as well. For every task they had to do, there was always someone or something new that they had to tend to, which did make their appearance in my life pretty rare. And when they weren't around, there was about another 10 people bending to attend my every wish and command like I was the Prince of Egypt or something.

Thankfully, in my senior year, my parents realised how much it was affecting my work to have so many people come in and out of my life, besides them of course, that they ended up buying my own house. I can tell you, I was forever grateful. It definitely helped me be the 'IT' girl at school. I was the star cheerleader, incredibly smart and I had my own house where I could throw all the insane parties. Unfortunately, this did not help me with friends. A lot of girls were too intimidated by me and others spread rumours about me, which only affected them and their relationships since the rumours were about their boyfriends. Of course, these girls from cheerleading would at least pretend to be my friend in fear that I would kick them off the team; and I probably would since they spread complete lies about me. But I was bigger than them.

I'm at university now, which is more then what any of them could say. But unfortunately, somehow, my reputation followed me. Well, what they think my reputation is. I'm not sure what it is about me, but no matter where I am, people become jealous and rumours begin. The girls in my course believe I'm throwing myself at their boyfriends. I'm sure their boyfriends tell them that, when really, it's the other way around. Maybe it's just because I'm confident in myself, and my body.
I shrugged, "who knows," I mumbled to myself.

I sighed and stood up from the lounge to make myself something to eat. I decided on pan fried salmon and a simple salad. As I was cooking, my thoughts went back to the interview and this opportunity. I cannot believe that it has come up, it's definitely an opportunity I have to take. It's a sign. I'm not too big on signs, but I definitely think that this is one. Lately, I've been feeling so stuck in my life and it would be so great for an opportunity like this to travel the world with, in my opinion, the best band ever. To be honest, just meeting them would be a life changing experience.

Once finished cooking and eating my meal, I sat down with my computer on the lounge room floor with the intention of studying and completing some assignments. However, somehow, I got sidetracked and began doing some research on past interviews and concerts of Avenged Sevenfold and their dancers.
I practiced the choreography from the live videos of Scream before jumping up and creating my own. Finally, all that dancing and cheerleading is being put to good use. I decided to have two perfect dance routines mastered ready to go. One to Scream, just in case they want it for the song specifically, and one to another absolute banger of a song.

I danced and danced for what seemed like hours, until I could barely move. I moved myself to the bedroom in a sleepy daze, where I slept like a baby dreaming of the endless possibilities of how this audition and interview would go, without a shred of doubt that I would get the part.
