The Girl Without A Name

7 1 1

There once lived a girl
A long time ago
Who could extinguish a fire
Without a single blow

The girl without a name
Was a quiet one
She was sweet and friendly
And she loved to have fun

Then one day
Something changed
She no longer saw her as herself
And her smiles became strained

She hoped that with more makeup would come more happiness
But soon she began to feel herself losing all of her loveliness

Then finally she gave in
She knew she was fading
But she pulled herself back up
And stopped herself from hating

For love is much to strong
To be just a simple emotion
It is something that we can feel
Even in the midst of a hateful commotion

It is something that we can feel
Deep within our hearts
Just know that you truly are
The sum of your best parts

Love is worth waiting for
Love is worth the pain
Even on those days
When you feel like sad rain
