~Prologue~

When i was little, my mother used to tell my siblings stories of when her and my father were younger.

She spoke of so many wonderful and magical things.

She spoke of mermaids, bookworms, stripping sorcerers, wise fairies, and many, many dragons. She also spoke of illustruous castles, both on land and in the sea.

Me and my borther and my sister used to love hearing the stories just like everyone else in our family.

I remember vividly how on family reunions we would gather around in the living room all together infront of my mom to hear her re-tell the stories of their younger years.

I remember mother smiling her brilliant smile and telling us all the stories until everyone fell asleep.

That is except for me. I was always the last one to stay awake through all of the stories. So my mother would often pick me up gently and set me on her lap. She would braid my hair and tell me stories of the very last adventure her and dad had before they officially got together and had me and my twin brother.

It was amazing to hear the story and then when i was 10. My brother finally managed to stay awake with us, so our mom began to teach us magic after she told all of the stories to both of us.

Soon enough by the next year after my brother managed to stay awake so did our father, and he taught us his own magic.

But it wasnt until much later in life that I and Igneel finally understood the truth that the stories they would tell us were actually about their lives and their adventures with the family...

What's my name you ask?

Well, it's simple really...

"Nash! Hurry up! We're going to be late to the wedding!" Yelled Igneel.

I sighed and laughed.

"Coming Iggy!!" I shouted back.

My name is Nashi, Nashi Dragneel... and this is not my story...
