kenta huddled up in his coat as he stumbled along the dark streets, his mind swirling. he was definitely more than just tipsy, and it wrecked him to bits.

"yongguk, and sanggyun... both of them are so, so, so so so so stupid..." he drawled, hiccuping. "ah, so freaking cold..."

through his drunken state, he suddenly felt a presence behind him, making him halt.

he turned around, shivers running down his spine as he saw nothing. "strange... really strange."

he continued walking ahead, slightly more sober due to the brief experience. "i should get home quick, it's late..."

kenta widened his eyes as he heard a loud whoosh all around him, a shadow covering the street lights for a split second. he spun and turned around, cautiously looking at every dark corner. "h-hello?"

seeing no one, he huffed to himself. "so... weird."

he hid his nervousness and started walking faster, trying his hardest not to trip as he felt the presence grow on him again, bigger and badder than before. loud, constant whispers rung his ears endlessly as the wind roared at him. he suddenly yelped and tripped over his own two feet, scratching his palms as he fell onto the concrete road.

"who is it?! come out!" he challenged, his whole body alert as he looked around. "now!"

after seeing nothing but the flickering street lights, his shoulders dropped, a sigh of relief escaping past his lips. "thank go-"

the lights suddenly flickered so aggressively that the glass burst, forcing them to fuse out. the wind picked up its pace, blowing old flyers and dead leaves all around the place. a piercing screech attacked the panicked boy, forcing him to wince and grab his ears, a helpless scream coming out of him. "stop! stop it!"

"how do you feel, kenta?" a distant voice called out with a cackle, the japanese boy looking around in fear. "huh?"

he gasped, staring at the large hovering body clothed in black, red eyes glaring straight at him. "s-sanggyun hyung."

"you excited, kenta?" the said boy grinned to himself, moving closer and closer as kenta started scrambling backwards. "your ex best friend, mr. kim yongguk, is going to wake up tomorrow morning, only to find out that poor takada kenta, the sad, meaningless japanese exchange student who served no purpose or role in anyone's life, has been murdered!"

fear slowly paralysed the boy's body as sanggyun grinned. "see you in hell, kenta."

sanggyun looked down at his abdomen, where the knife from his stabbing remained in him. a sadistic smile took over his features as he pulled it out without wincing, holding it up to show off to kenta.

"n-no..." kenta was horrified. he wanted to scream, cry and throw up all at the same time, yet he knew he needed to run if he wanted to survive. he stumbled onto his feet and took off down the street, his mind still woozy from the alcohol, his sight unclear due to the lack of street lights. "no! no! s-someone help... save me! help!"

he yelped as he was grabbed by his hair, his feet leaving the ground. he was being dragged upwards, and finally, tears spilled from his eyes.

he was turned around so he could face sanggyun, sobs escaping his lips. "please, please, sanggyun hyung... no, please..."

"so fucking ugly," sanggyun chuckled, spitting at him before turning him around by his grip on his hair. he changed his tone into a sickly happy one as he said, "come on, kenta! count to three for me! one..."

"please," kenta begged gently in between his sobs, though he knew there was no hope left for him.

"two..." sanggyun chuckled.

"please!" kenta started shrieking again. "please, please! spare me, save me! please!"

"shut up!" sanggyun hissed, before smiling to himself again.

"three."

he plunged the knife right into kenta's back, an agonised cry coming out of the boy as he did so. satisfaction filled his heart as he cracked through his spine, the squelch exciting the ghoul. he pulled it back out, watching kenta's body jerk, laughing in amusement at the blood that squirted out endlessly, before he pushed the blade back in again.
