Maya has always been an odd child- she was in a way perfect. She always ate her vegetables, did all the chores, was as sweet as pie and well was all around a perfect child. That's one of the reasons people were so confused at her disappearance. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention the fact that when Maya was 11 she went missing- this story is set right before the event, 11th June 2000.
Maya was sitting patiently while various people rushed past swiftly, she was waiting for the news that would determine her future- whether or not her parents had been found. You wouldn't expect the little, pale, auburn haired girl to be expecting the news of a lifetime, no- well not by glancing at her, that's for sure. Suddenly the police man appeared from around the corner of the door, solemn faced he told Maya, "Hey you, come in." After taking a seat in the minuscule office the police man added, "Your the kid of them people who got lost right?" "Yes, if you mean Ryha and Dylan Meddows," "Yeah them lot, well sorry to be the bringer of bad news, but they ain't been found yet," the news electrocuted Maya's insides, but she put on a brave face and questioned, "So where will I stay?" "You'll be staying at your aunts place for now, 'till we find you a permanent place," "Oh, ok,"
Ok I know, a perfect character isn't going to be very relatable, but that's not really what this story is about- this story doesn't happen to many people, yet. Ok back on track
The next few nights at aunt Lisa's were dreadful for Maya, but she stuck through, and on that same week her parents were found- a couple miles from the airport- tired, hungry and thirsty. Yes life was getting better for little Maya but she was in for the shock of her life- and it was coming rapidly at her, faster then lightning.
~Sorry I know this is a short one, and that I've been inactive- oh yeah and don't forget the fact that I have deleted 2 different stories, let's play a game: will this series survive or die? Comment below!~
