Gotta Be You (Harry Styles Fanfic)

Chapter 2

Harry and I didn't talk the whole week after the kissing incident. Hell, he was barely at the house for the week. And if he was, I wouldn't know because I spent most my time in my room and on the computer just to avoid the awkward conversations with him.

When I knew he was gone today I scuffled downstairs in my green sports-bra and half top and pajama pants with my laptop in hand. I set everything down on the coffee table in front of the couch in the living room and then decided to demolish the growing pile of laundry. I walked through the kitchen and into the laundry room in the back of the house, with a window overlooking the pool and huge lawn. I slowly put most of the clothes into the washer, I dropped a piece of clothing and bent down to pick it up, but after I had it in my hand, I realized that it was Harry's underwear, and I instinctively threw them away from me.

"EW!EW!EWWWW!!!" I screamed like a little girl and quickly turned on the washer and left the room. I walked into the kitchen and searched for something to snack on. I found a box of cheese-itz and began to munch. Then I went back to the living room to watch a movie and continue my plan to read every celebrity article and watch every funny video on the internet.

 I put The Notebook into the DVD player and pressed 'play' and began to rad the latest Brad and Angelina drama. About halfway through the article I received a Tweet from Jas. (A/N okay I don’t really understand Twitter so yeah... don't judge me! :D)

Wait, what was she talking about? Oh well, she was probably hallucinating again. So I went back to the article and found the new trending topic on yahoo.

  'Harry Styles and his new Lady!' Oh, this is going to be good. I clicked on it, waiting to see who the skank was. Only thing was, the skank was me. My eyes widened as I scrolled through the article and read.

 'Alli Scott and Harry Styles may seem to have a hate/hate relationship, but we have reason to believe otherwise when a reliable source saw Styles(18) arriving at pop sensation, Kat's LA home just a few hours after she left for the first stop in her Kit Kat Tour, in the Big Apple. We have been told that Scott (18) is staying home while Kat tours for the next 6 months. Not only is Scott still in LA but she's with Styles, who she earlier this month called a "cougar chasing twat." One Direction's manager has told us that the rumors are in fact true, Styles and Scott have been secretly dating for the past two weeks. Scott's mother has also admitted to her daughter's relationship with Styles and that they're extremely happy together. What are your thoughts on this new relationship? I slammed the laptop closed and picked up my phone and dialed my mother's number. It went straight to voice mail and like hell I was going to leave one. I waited for the beep and went off.

  "Look Mom. I don't know who you think you are but I can't believe that you would make up something like that just to save your fucking ass!!! Wait, I can believe that! I hate you so much! How do you even expect me to be in a rela-" Harry walked in, "Nevermind. Bye," I hung up the phone. He dropped down on the couch and loudly groaned. He looked over at me I could tell that he saw that I was angry. And that's when I made the decision. "I'm leaving, Harry."

 "wha- why? Is it because of the article?" I nodded my head still looking forward. "I'm sorry; I had no idea that they were planning that all along. I really had no idea," He grabbed my hand and I pulled away, "Alli, why won't you talk to me? Is it because of what happened last week? Because if it is, let’s just forget about it. I was out of li-" I couldn't take it anymore, so I pressed my lips against his, and then pulled away. "What was that for?"

 "To say goodbye."

 "What?" He was obviously worried, "I'm not letting you leave."

 "Yes, you are."
