I love the way you seek to upbuild me
Anyway you've always been a friend that's filled me
With warmth, feeling, and incredible gain
While you yourself drown in the rain
We'd talk about the future about being mature adults
Walk down memory lane forgetting all of our faults
The creativeness of it all added color
To the things we didn't know how to say, to the pain, and to the answers
Of everything that plagued us raw
How you gave and took comfort
Rooted for a crumbling hope and sat quietly in hurt
I'll never grasp, never grope
For an abundance of sincerity my heart hasn't thrown
To the day, to the one I'm fond of and to time
Time indefinite pondered by my finite mind
Are no words better than any words?
Is beauty worth far more than brilliance?
Or maybe my courage is crouching behind
An enormous measure of strength that wills to speak
Amongst the power complimenting my insignificant
Abundance of words
