Chapter 5: If Only SHE Knew

*Dinah's POV*

I got to school early today because Mr. Watkins gave us some crazy homework about this book that I don't really understand and of course I don't have it. I asked Camila and she said I could find it here, at the school's library. I feel like a lost dog ever since I got here, how can someone understand libraries, it's seriously so confusing, I wish Camila was here to help me. I'm in the middle of all these books and I suddenly hear something. I turn around and I can't believe what I'm seeing. Daaaaaamn these dawgs are gettin' it! Wait I think I know who this is... Lauren?!

*Lauren's POV*

OMG Dinah. What is she doing here? For how long has she been there watching us? I didn't even know Dinah liked books!

"Nicole stop, someone's here!" I say trying to push her off me.

"Oh" she says sounding indifferent.

"Dinah it's- I mean- uh we were just"

"It's ok Lauren you don't have to say anything..." she says interrupting me.

"Good then pretend you didn't see anything." Nicole tells the tall brunette while walking away from us.

"Dinah I-"

"Seriously Lauren it's fine, just be careful, I know she is your friend but she's a b i t c h"

"Yeah..."

"Don't worry your secret is safe with me, bye chica!"

"Bye..."

*during class*

I can't believe Dinah caught me and Nicole making out. I've never told her that I like girls but I think she knows. When we were at Camp Rock, there was this cute girl named Shay and I'd always show my gay towards her. I hope that she doesn't tell Camila, I mean why would she? It's not like catching two of the popular girls making out at the school's library it's a good conversation topic... Ugh it kinda is, if only everyone knew... I rather not think about it.

"Earth to Lauren!" Normani whispers while waving her hand in front of my face.

"Oh sorry, what?"

"The teacher is talking about the auditions for the extracurricular music class, I asked you if you're going"

"Yes, I think so... Will you come with me?"

"Duh of course!!"

*during lunch*

"So guys Lauren and I are going to be attending Demi Lovato's class!"

"Calm down Normani, we still have to audition first..." I inform my best friend, kicking some reality into her. Normani is used to get into singing competitions and she sings at church so I'm sure she'll get in in a heartbeat. Me? I'm not so sure but I think I am getting good feedback about my video... I checked this morning and the people like it but there's some hating comments that I don't like so I'm not gonna be posting another video soon.

"I'm sure you guys will pass"

"We'll see Vero, thanks for supporting though..."

"Yeah I am sure you will" Nicole winks at me, making me focus on the food in front of me.

"By the way, Vero, my cousin told me to tell you that Ash really wants to go out with you and he is not giving up" Bea says, making everyone go speechless.

"You need to give him a chance!"

"So do you Lauren because I'm getting you a date with my cousin Luke!"

"NO WAY! I ain't going."

"You will someday..." Bea tells me smirking.

*after school*

I just got home and I feel my computer call me already. I grab an apple and take it upstairs throwing my bag on the bed and taking a bite. I open Tumblr and reblog some stuff that I feel relevant. My tumblr is like my diary, everything I post is according to what I am feeling in the moment and today nothing makes sense. I reblogged a bunch of pictures of views and everything cute that showed up in my dashboard. As I listen to Lana del Rey, I go on Twitter and tweet some random things. Suddenly there is a tweet that catches my attention:

I'm going to audition for demi lovato tomorrow, I am so nervous ajdjsjxjscndwp

Oh my god Camila is going to audition too, I didn't know she could sing! I bet she has the most perfect voice. I hope she gets in, I never heard her sing but if I get in and she does too, I get to spend more time with her and probably even get to know her better... I like that.

I like her.
